I moved my mother into Heatherwood about a month ago. The adjustment has been hard for her but Suzy and her staff have been going above and beyond to make her comfortable and help her adjust to her new environment. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The kitchen staff makes excellent meals with a lot of variety. The wait staff is very accommodating. They have constant fun activities and exercise classes scheduled daily. When we found this place and saw how reasonable the pricing was I was a little concerned at first but Heatherwood stands up to the best of the senior living facilities around the Treasure Valley. I recommend anybody who is looking for a senior living facility to make sure you look into Heatherwood. You will not regret it

Mary at Heatherwood was a pleasure to talk with. She gave us a wonderful tour of the facility. We were very impressed at how nice the facilities were and all they offer at a very reasonable price. We spoke to a number of residents who all expressed how happy they were to be living there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a residence for themselves or a loved one.

We needed to find a place for Mom she was living with us here in Meridian, however it proved to be more challenging in a blended family environment consisting of me and my wife my wife’s Mom our daughter and husband with a baby on the way along with several animals. Well mom wasn’t prepared for that big of a change she needed her independence back and I believe this is the place she’s going to find it. The people living there practically sold it to us! Such friendly folks and staff all welcoming with open arms. My mom will be able to gain new friends our relationships, activities , three square meals, engage and participate as she wishes and retreat to her own room that is another retreat in itself. Complete with WiFi through out, laundry facilities, a weekly cleaning along with linens and towels laundry each week. We enjoyed two dinners there the food was great and everyone we met was very happy. Calling A place for mom was me just inquiring and within a week she now has a home. One issue drawing concern is the rent is doable for now but we may need to reevaluate down the road at 5-6% increase per year saying it keeps up with growing inflation however my mom’s income inflation rate on her social security is 2.5% let’s hope it stays lower in the years to come. The staff member Mary was very polite and patient as she gave us the tour of the facility. I think my mom will love it here. She can’t wait to move in.

We had the honor of hosting a networking lunch in October at Heatherwood, and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in the courtyard. The trees were stunning and the outside area was incredibly well-kept. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Heatherwood!

The place has definitely gone downhill. The food is gross, the place is dirty, the staff is condescending, etc. I would recommend checking out every other place before this one.
