I don't know what we would have done without Heather. Though, I do know how we struggled before we found her. Heather is an exceptional carer. But, she also has medical knowledge! No, she's not a doctor, but she has experience in the medical and medical care fields and we utilized her knowledge and that expertise, often. I know my mother really liked her--huge smile when Heather walked in--but my father and I really liked her, as well. She was of great support to the two of us, as mom's primary carers. And, she was supportive until just before the end, coming over just to discuss what to do about mom's discomfort and the imminency of her passing. She was always ready and able to answer my questions, which made me feel at ease. I think often of the fact that Heather gave mom a bed bath, the morning she eventually passed. And, I'm so glad it was Heather who was here to do it. I can never thank Heather enough nor recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for the best possible carer you'd ever be fortunate enough to find.
