With it being Christmas, and without my mom I feel so disheartened. This place was suppose to be a home full of care, love, and rehabilitation. Instead, my sweet mama was neglected and withered away at their hands! I didn’t just place my mom here. We were actively there almost never skipping a day. We were out of town for a week, I called twice to check on her and they said she was doing well. Upon my return she was placed on Hospice! I do know with all that is in me that she was neglected! Please don’t place your loved ones here.

Believe every single one of the negative reviews about this place! I wouldn't allow anyone else close to me to go here for rehab. They treated my Aunt terribly when she was there years ago. Several of my aunt's friends have horror stories regarding this place. The latest issue is with my elderly second cousin who is currently there with a broken hip/pelvis. In the two months that he has been there someone has stolen three different cell phones and an electric razor from him! This place is a joke and should be shut down.

My grandmother was here she was all I had….. she chose not to do dialysis anymore because of her treatment here and by the time we moved her to a different facility she was already on hospice it was horrible to watch my whole world die in front of me. These people left her in her vomit and poop and did not help her eat my grandmother was only there because she broke her hip she just couldn’t get up and walk because they were supposed to be helping her get better. Because of them she would cry about the way they treated her not to mention the staff would not even answer me or look at me when I asked them to give her water. So if any staff or administrators are reading this how would you feel if that was your family member to sit there and watch them being mistreated and suffer to see them being treated like cattle going to the slaughter house…… I feel sick just thinking about this place. She loved everyone and forgave everyone never she helped others so much I always wanted to be like her and in the end I guess none of it ever mattered she still died a horrible death. Please don’t take your loved ones here a good place is nhc health care they staff and place was amazing.

This place is very bad and never come here. I have a papa that is here, and we came in here, and he had crust all over him and had stuff in his beard. Also, it was left like that for the whole day, and they did not clean him at all. So i say that you should never put a loved one in this place. Also, when my mom tried to confront them, they did not care, and they slammed the door in her face, so please don't come here. Also, he had a stained bed and was not clean and has not been changed. So I recommend not to come here.

My mother was at this facility when it was still called Heartland. I've read the other reviews, and I must say that I disagree with most of what I read. My mom was there about two years. It is obviously not a state of the art new building with all the latest and greatest equipment. BUT, over 95% of the nurses and staff were very courteous, caring and professional. Isn't that what matters most? My mom didn't have much to say the last several months of her life, but she always bragged on several of the staff saying things like "she's my buddy"! I could tell that more than a few of the employees genuinely cared about my mom and did their best to make her as comfortable as possible. I wish I knew the names of all the ladies that took care of her, but sadly, I don't. So, for all of you that made my mom feel cared for, THANK YOU!
