I have lived here for 3 years and the residents are all friendly and the staff have all been very friendly and competent and try to meet our needs!!! I would not hesitate to recommend that anyone seeking to find a senior living experience to visit hearthstone and see all the different staff?Dale Devones

We had high hopes for this senior care facility in our small town, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations or needs. From the start, there were several red flags. During the initial tours, many of the rooms had strong urine odors — we were told by the sales representative that this was “normal,” which was concerning. The assisted living units were also not ADA-compliant; the toilets were so low they seemed more suitable for children than for older adults with mobility issues. Throughout our time there (just over five weeks), it became clear that the facility was understaffed and unequipped. Communication was lacking.. What was most disheartening was how we were treated upon leaving. While we were initially welcomed with warm smiles, no one acknowledged us or offered a simple goodbye when we made the difficult decision to move out. I sincerely hope that the new ownership will take the opportunity to make meaningful changes — better staffing, proper equipment, cleaner facilities, and a more compassionate approach to families. We would encourage those interested to tour the facility more than once.

Our Mother/Grandmother has been at Hearthstone for 3 years. Starting out in independent living now assisted. The aids, nurses and staff have been wonderful to her. She has been well taken care of and they are very mindful of her daily needs. The experiences at Hearthstone are too many to mention but always something fun and interesting to participate in. The building and grounds are very well kept and make a beautiful setting for the residents .

We moved my grandmother into Hearthstone about a year ago and it has been a great fit for her. There are so many activities for her to participate in and she has made great friendships. She enjoys all of the staff members and feels at home there.

My mom has recently moved into Hearthstone and in the short time she has been there, we have had nothing but positive interactions. The facility itself is beautiful, Mom's room is spacious and well maintained, there are lots of activities throughout the day to choose from, but, all that said, it is the staff that has made this such a positive experience! From the beginning, Leslie, the Director of Sales, has been very responsive to every request- even before we decided to move Mom in. She is quick to respond, kind in her interactions and has a fun sense of humor! Kevin, who handles all of the maintenance needs of the facility, is amazing as well. Among his many talents is his musical gift. This past weekend, I attended the Easter brunch with Mom and we were blessed to hear Kevin singing and playing the piano. Truly top notch! In the short time Mom's been living at Hearthstone I've also met Lily, Lulu and Maddie. All very positive and very kind. We truly believe this has been a very positive step for Mom at this point in time.
