This community is truly one of the very best in the Ellensburg. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth, kindness,and genuine care that make this place so special. The residents are treated likes family, and before long, their families become part of the community family as well. You are always welcomed with smiles and open arms by the Executive Director, Arlene Waltner, Bianca in Sales, and Elena in Activities.Their compassion, friendliness and dedication shine through in everything they do.What stands out most is that you do not need to search for a receptionist is wonder who to talk to. The leadership team is always present, approachable, and ready to help. Finding the right place for a loved one can be overwhelming and filled with worry.As someone who lives far away, I carried many concerns about my loved one’s care and well- being.However,the moment I stepped into this community, I felt a sense of peace and reassurance. I knew my loved one would be cared for with dignity, compassion, and love. One of the things I appreciate most is how accessible the management team is. Their contact information is readily available and even when I’ve had concerns outside of the business hours, they have always answered my calls and taken the time to reassure me that everything was okay. I often felt guilty for reaching out after hours, but their response was always the same: “were family, you can call anytime.” Those words meant more than they know and often brought tears to my eyes. I cannot recommend this community high enough. It is truly a hidden gem in Ellensburg. We are incredibly grateful and thankful to have found such a wonderful home for my loved one. The care, compassion, and sense of family here have exceeded every expectation we had. Avista, thank you for making such a positive difference in the lives of residents and their families! ❤️

This is for both the people at Avista Ellensburg and Avista Spokane. WOW! They've reacted quickly and effectively to such an unusual situation, and I talked with several of the folks who had to be relocated from Spokane to Ellensburg and they are just so appreciative the team in Ellensburg (as well as the staff who moved with them from Spokane to Ellensburg) are on top of everything to keep them safe and - more importantly - cared for with such a complete, personal touch.

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to visit this community, thanks to my great grandmother's residence here, and I must say it truly surpassed my expectations in every way. The warm aroma that greets you at the entrance sets the tone for a wonderful experience, complemented by the impeccably clean hallways and homey decorations that make everyone feel welcome.<br><br>The residents' radiant smiles are a testament to the love and care provided by the Avista team, whose dedication shines through in every aspect of the community. The staff's kindness, warmth, and friendliness make everyone feel at home. The management's approachability and kindness embody Avista's mission of kindness matters, reflecting the exceptional quality of care. Without a doubt, this community exceeded our expectations.<br><br>After searching for the best assisted living in Ellensburg, Avista stood out, and it certainly delivered. For those seeking a nurturing environment for their loved ones, this community is an excellent choice, offering a homey, welcoming, and family-like atmosphere.

Avista Senior Living in Ellensburg has been such an incredible experience. I had a family friend who was unsure at first because of the smaller size of the community. But after staying here, she has absolutely no regrets and honestly now sees that sometimes smaller really is better.<br><br>If you’re looking for quality care and people who truly care, Avista is special. Because it’s a smaller community, the caregivers and staff really take the time to get to know each resident personally their routines, their personalities, what makes them smile, and what they need. That kind of attention is hard to find.<br><br>What stands out most is how warm and family-like it feels. Not only do the caregivers know the residents, but even the management team takes the time to know residents and families personally too. That’s rare. In many places, management can feel distant, but at Avista they are present, involved, and genuinely caring.<br><br>Yes, it may be smaller but that’s part of what makes it so wonderful. It feels warm, personal, and like family. For anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be truly known and cared for, Avista is something really special.

Awesome staff! We needed a safe place for my father in law when it became difficult for him to live alone. The staff was so accommodating and caring to him and us, it made a difficult situation much easier. He ended up passing soon after we moved him there and they were so compassionate and helpful. I would definitely recommend Avista to anyone looking for a safe space for an elderly loved one.
