I recently had surgery and was admitted to Health Central Park Nursing and rehab center in Winter Garden. The facility was immaculate and the staff in every department were attentive and truly concerned for my health. Everyone gave 100% effort in taking care of myself and the other patients that were admitted to their facility. If you want a positive environment to get the much needed help to recover back to good health, this is the rehab and nursing home for you! Thank you MeRienne, Bleyette, Gladys, Jessica, letting, Melinda, Fralone, Loudies, yahaira RN, Doug RN, Sylvester RN, Charleyte RN, Mike and others in PT and OT, and Laura Winford LPN, Rehab Care Coordinator!! Beautiful place, kind staff and they work with you on everything. The long term residents have good food and lots of activities, courtyard etc. They have short term rehab with private rooms tv and bathrooms. Nice rehab facility. They also have memory care which is lock down so patients can’t just wander out. My dad is currently there. They take Medicare and Medicaid as well as private pay. It’s also a very quaint town with beautiful and safe surroundings. A good place for anyone’s loved one with caring staff.

I cannot say enough good things about my rehabilitation experience in July 2025! The entire team was absolutely outstanding—from nursing and therapy to food service and housekeeping. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my recovery. The facility was always clean, welcoming, and well-run. I am deeply grateful for the excellent care I received!

I am writing as the concerned niece and advocate for my aunt, who has been a resident in your rehabilitation unit since early January 2026, to receive therapy and regain her mobility. I want to acknowledge several strengths of the facility: it is modern and exceptionally clean, with rooms receiving thorough daily cleaning. The food menu offers a wide variety of appealing, tasty options that my aunt has enjoyed. However, I have serious and ongoing concerns about aspects of her care that are negatively affecting her comfort, rehabilitation progress, and potentially her health. 1. Delayed Administration of Pain Medication
My aunt has severe chronic arthritis, for which timely pain relief is medically essential to manage discomfort and enable active participation in physical therapy. Unfortunately, her prescribed pain medications are routinely administered late—often requiring repeated requests from her. This pattern has caused unnecessary pain and limited her ability to engage fully in rehab activities. 2. Inadequate Responsiveness and Communication from CNAs
While many nurses are kind and attentive during medication distribution, they are seldom available for other needs. More concerning is the performance of several Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), who frequently ignore requests, respond rudely, or fail to provide basic assistance. A significant contributing factor appears to be limited English proficiency among a portion of the CNA staff, which impairs their ability to understand resident requests, follow simple instructions, or effectively communicate concerns to nurses and other team members. These issues create barriers to consistent, respectful care. 3. Failure to Investigate Suspected Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Most urgently, two days ago my aunt reported to the physician and staff that she suspected a UTI—a condition she is particularly prone to and one that can rapidly progress to serious complications (e.g., sepsis) if not addressed promptly. Despite this clear report, no urine specimen has been collected for testing, no diagnostic steps have been taken, and there has been no follow-up assessment or communication. This delay is unacceptable and places her health at unnecessary risk. These issues are especially troubling for residents without family members to advocate on their behalf. Today, while attempting to resolve the UTI concern by phone, I was transferred three times and left on hold for an extended period without resolution.

Compare to many nursing homes and other rehabilitation centers and facilities, this has great benefits and I guess we could say amenities for their patients! Green area! For pets and guess and patients to walk or just take the sun. Huge cafe area. Amazing food selection and menu for their patients… like amazing. All the rooms have a tv and private bathroom. Staff is kind attentive and do their best to help the patients feel at home. They even have in home pets that live in and visit the rooms freely! Like you should see the patients faces light up every time Garfield comes to visit! Great place !
