Horrible place , need to get my wife out of here ASAP Update- moved my wife to JDT rehab, please if you respect your loved one DO NOT PLACE THEM IN BLOOMINGDALE Bloomingdale wants details , here we go My wife has mobility issues and surgery compounded her ability to get out of bed unaided She needed a bed pan, requested it and the staff refused to provide one , instructing her to "go in your diaper" my wife requested to be placed in her motorized wheelchair to get out of bed . The staff told her " No, your not scheduled to go anywhere" Trash left in the room for 4 to 5 days Television and bed broken unrepaired for days because " maintenance does not work weekends" Call buttons are a joke , if your lucky someone might respond in 20 minutes Finally her last day pending transfer to JDT , Awaken at 7 , told transport to JDT would be at 9 . All belongings moved out of closets and drawers 2 PM , Administration calls husband informing him transport was "his problem" I would not place a dead Dog in this facility

My 93 yr old mom had to stay at the center for about 2 weeks. I have to say that the workers at this facility were wonderful! The physical therapists, the nurses and the staff have the patience of saints! The patients and residents are fortunate to have such a wonderful staff doing an impossible job
