I am currently at hayes residence and the facility is unkept and so old, it smells of pee everywhere. The nurses are so un professional they leave people medicine on top of the medication cart and leaving the med cart opened and going about their busy. which they are breaking HIPPA. The nurses touch people medicine and they don't like to be corrected when they mess up on your medication. The site says nursing skilled me but it ain't at all. If the medication falls on the ground they will give it to patient. The nurses are so rude and dont knock the door, they just enter your room. The nurses gives a patients another patients medication when the patient ask for a medication(Tylenol and gabapentin for example). The nurses will check that they gave medication while the patient has not received the medication at all. I have had my medicine gone missing twice because they just dump your medicine anywhere they feel like it. They withhold your paper mail from you, untill you ask for it or they feel like giving it too you. The bed are too small. The bathroom are so nasty, and the shower too I have to wear my bathing shoes in there. The nurses really don't treat as patient like human-beings at all. The nurses wait until you are out of medicine so that you can go day/ weeks without it. When you ask them what happened to the medication they say you don't have the medicine and they will order you more from their pharmacy. A week later the are still ordereding the from out of space I guess. The patient who wear diapers don't get changed frequently, so that's why the whole place smells like pee. One of the nurse that sounds like a man but a female almost broke my wrist trying to stop a fight between me and my roommate. She was so quick to call the cops on me. But when there is a fight between two white people she doesn't call the cops on them. At the interview with Bethany she will say alot of good stuff about Hayes place which are all lies. Bethany will punish you for writing the Google review when you speak the truth about this place. I will advice for you to schedule a tour something I wish I had done before being admitted here. The dietitian's doesn't help you with your meal and if you want to lose weight she does not help you with that either. The food is good but sometimes it is really nasty depends on who is in the kitchen that day. If you have a special dietary or request for something different to eat. They don't care you will get whatever they have available in the kitchen. You have to remind the kitchen stuff that you are allergic to something every day. The head chef will forget that you are allergic to something and won't have any thing different. Even thought Bethany say in the interview that you can get something different. A client died here due to luck of skilled nursing. The fall button does not work. if you faint the nurses don't call ambulance and they say that you are faking it. Basically every employee here is all about the money and not the client. I wonder how this place is still opened.

Spoke with admissions about my mother-in-law's housing, very attentive with website provided to locate facilities across the metro. She offered additional help if we get stuck in the process.

My daughter lives at Hayes and right now 1/4 of her stuff has been stolen (her blankets, bathrobe, towels, clothes, charger, laptop, money) some of the nurses broke HIPPA rules by touching her meds without gloves or giving Tylenol when it is not prescribed the right dose to a patient. My daughter feels mistreated and wants to move out but the social worker doesn’t allow her to because she has to have ‘proper’ nursing out in the community which I think u just get a nurse to do my daughters meds once a week in a pillbox. The nurse that’s supposed to do testing for my daughter is 30 days late. The social worker hasn’t updated my daughter on her social security money, if she’s getting any money or if she has to apply for a job instead. The people here that do mail gives the mail days late. My daughters boyfriend and his family are highly concerned of my daughters safety in Hayes and keep telling social worker if my daughter can move in with them but she says NO! Some of the nurses are rude and mean they don’t care what time they give u the meds. The kitchen doesn’t give my daughter what she wants to eat since she’s allergic to some foods (mustard, almonds ,walnuts, pistachios, pecans, cabbage and pork) the laundry people shrink my daughters stuff, and puts lavender now she can’t wear them. The place is old and stinks of pee because the patients don’t change there diaper every 2 hours, and pees in the bed, and downstairs. My daughter has gotten verbally assaulted by a nurse and they didn’t fire the nurse. She’s been sexually harassed by a patient more than once! so in conclusion don’t go here unless if u want to be mistreated here!

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Bethany. I just got off of the phone with her. We are just starting the process of trying to find placement for my Father. Bethany is a super knowledgeable resource, who was incredibly helpful to me, kind and caring. If it was in my power I would give her a raise today. I hope this place realizes what a treasure that they have in Bethany. Thanks again Bethany

Toured the facility. Found old scratches on furniture. I didn't find it very clean. Tiny twin beds and no shades on windows. Looks like it needs a complete facelift.
