My dad was manhandled by an employee while on the phone with me. I heard it all including my dad begging him to stop and saying “you’re hurting me”. My dad lost 80 lbs in 6 months. I removed him from the home and he died 2 weeks later. I hold them responsible for my dad’s decline. He was not happy there. Didn’t thrive.he hated the food, he hated being belittled for not taking meds and he refused care because of it. I wish these people never entered my dads life. The last straw was they claimed to not be able to find his new glasses that came in the mail after he went to the hospital. He went weeks without them because they couldn’t find them. They were sitting right on his bed when I cleared his things away after he died.

Wonderful staff, reception, helpers, kind volunteers etc. A modest Transitional care unit that is one of the, “easier on the pocket book kinda places.”
