Patients are not a priority here. Staff needs override the individual needs of their patients. They also don’t take the patients outside in decent weather.

This place has tried to take advantage of my mother is so many ways it isn't funny. They have cashed a deposit check they were not supposed to (because they refused to let her in). Then they didnt return that deposit for over 6 months. They didnt return other deposit check from the unit she stayed in. They unit had a horrible smell (at move in) they refused to do anything about. The system for access is never updated or reprogramed as needed for access. So then people have to let others in to get access. Even though the entry is clearly marked not to do so. They agreed to collect mail for 2 weeks after move out and then didn't do it. I have been out and out lied to and mislead about so many things I cant even count them. There are some wonderful people who work there but management needs to be completely removed and start over. If I could give zero stars I would!

My parents have been here for over 10 years and live independently. They have been pleased with it and so has our family.<br><br>The staff are helpful and friendly. Plenty of diverse activities. Residents support each other and have social hours. There are nice guest rooms to stay in if needed.<br><br>Newspapers are delivered to their door, there is assistance with technology, and plenty of books to checkout, and a movie theater.<br>Music groups come in frequently to perform, there are religious services of different denominations. If you wish to be involved, you have plenty of opportunities.<br><br>My only concerns is the location, however it does seem like it’s being improved by the soccer stadium, however not safe to walk outside at night. Likewise, the green line is right there, but unsafe for a senior to<br>ride with the crime and potential violence on the green line.<br><br>There are many signs in the main community room of a political nature and the signs line the windows as well. In my opinion, this could be a separate group who meets, with the signage decreased because if you don’t share the same political beliefs you wouldn’t feel welcome here.<br><br>If needed, usually able to be admitted to TCU from hospital, my parents have been admitted to the TCU a few times and they could transition back to independent living . There are levels of care available if needed.
