My nanny moved into this facility a few months ago. We were nervous to put her in a facility, but her care at home was getting too much for family to handle. The staff at Hawthorn Glen was amazing at helping her (and us!) with the transition. They were kind and so helpful before, during, and after the move. My nanny is now flourishing and the other residents have become her friends. I’m so happy that she’s being cared for so well.

Hawthorn Glen is a very nice, clean, quiet and well maintained facility. They have done several updates to the decor to make it feel very homey and comfortable! Great place to provide excellent care for our elderly family member. They staff is fantastic and very friendly!

I play the piano for area nursing homes. I am also a retired RN. I played the piano for Hawthorne Glens' skilled nursing care residents today. During my visit, I had the pleasure of conversing with both the activity therapist Joe, and the admissions director Mae. After learning that I had two family members that may need assisted living care, Mae spent about an hour with me, answering all of my questions and giving me a tour of the facility. I was very impressed with the thorough ness of her answers to my questions, and the appearance of the assisted living rooms and outside recreational areas. The monthly cost for their assisted living services, the size of the apartments, and the nurse to resident ratios were also better than I expected. Lastly, and very important to note, all of the staff had smiles on their faces and there were no offensive odors in any of the areas I walked through. I will not hesitate to share this information with my family and friends as they are considering assisted living care for their loved ones.

I went for a tour and information today. I have a healthcare management background and was very impressed with the intake/admissions staff. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, professional and also came across like family. The facility was clean and felt more like a home than a facility. Staff I encountered were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The residents I encountered were clean and in good spirits. There was a pleasant, peaceful feeling throughout. I feel very confident my mother will be well taken care of here. A special thank you to Mae and Antoinette for taking time with me and making sure I saw every nook and cranny and all my questions were answered!
