Hawthorn Court is a lovely facility. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the I-10 and Loop 202 freeways. My wife always felt safe in her room, which had an en suite bathroom. The staff was efficient and caring, and were always patient with her.

The staff at Hawthorn Court are always very caring and supportive of the residents. They provide a professional atmosphere and care that is tailored for each resident, but also provide group activities that are for residents and families that are very enjoyable. They really do look after them as if they were family. I am very happy that my mother has found a home here.

What a great Montessori inspired dementia community! If you are looking for a secured community where your loved one with dementia can still make friends and have daily purpose - then Hawthorn Court is the perfect place!

For those of you looking for memory care for your parents or spouse but are unsure about a facility. I want it give a great recommendation to Hawthorn Court Memory Care. Sorry its so long but I know how hard it is to find care for parents and I am trying to give information on the importatnt areas.<br><br>MY DAD JJ McCarthy was at Hawthorn Court for about 18 months and had a great experience. As he went through the various stages of Alzheimer’s we could no longer care for him at home safely and effectively. He didn’t want to go to a facility but when he came to Hawthorn court they worked to make him comfortable and acclimate him quickly. We were uncomfortable not caring for him ourselves and worried but as the days went on he became part of the community and we felt comfortable we fel he would be cared for in the same way we would. He was clean, well fed, and cared about by the staff and thefriends he made.<br><br>The facility is very clean, homey, and comfortable. They have high windows which provide a great source of sunlight which makes it constantly bright. The rooms are a good size, clean and cozy. The food is said to be great.<br><br>The staff is knowledgeable , respectful and excellent overall. They are a very caring group and on top of the little details for each resident. They kept my dad busy and engaged which made him happy.<br><br>The medical staff is top notch and will accommodate patients needs as they go through the various stage. My Dad was diabetic and required some complex management at times and they were on top of it.<br><br>My Dads Journey came to an end yesterday but in these last days the staff took care of my Dad and our whole family too. They cared very much for my Dad as a person and were sad to see him go.<br><br>We will forever appreciate Hawthorn Court and highly recommend the facility.
