Absolutely the best care I could have imagined for my mom. She has lived at Hartland for almost four years, and I am grateful every day that she chose it.<br><br>What makes Hartland so special is the small, consistent, genuinely compassionate staff. Residents are cared for by familiar faces who truly know and love them. The owners are there almost every day, working alongside their staff personally caring for the residents. It's not just a business to them—it's their calling.<br><br>Meals are excellent, served family-style and are home-cooked, often featuring fresh produce from their on-site gardens or local farmers. Mom was able to bring her own furniture, making her private room feel like home. She also has a private bathroom and access to common areas, including a living room and game table where residents can socialize.<br><br>Communication with families is excellent. I always feel informed, included, and confident that Mom is receiving the best possible care.<br><br>When my mom was still of sound mind, she chose Hartland herself. Since then, she has developed advanced dementia, and although I live an hour and a half away, I have never considered moving her closer to me. The exceptional care, kindness, and dignity she receives at Hartland are simply unmatched. I recommend Hartland without hesitation to anyone looking for a loving, family-centered home for someone they cherish.
