My husband passed away in Dec.2025 after being in Harboview for about 3.5 months. In his final days he was brought to the hospital then to Hospice. His care Was uncaring, rude and ignorned and disrespectful. The workers treated him and his family with disdain. (Not all but the majority.) IF YOU Want infor, you can contact me)

I highly recommend Harborview Health Center in Altamonte Springs. My mother-in-law has been a resident here since December 2019, and our experience has been wonderful. The facility has always been nice and clean, but the improvements made over the last six months—including fresh paint, beautiful landscaping, new equipment, and updated furniture—have made the center even better. The staff are incredibly caring. They make sure my mother-in-law and all the residents are treated with the utmost care and respect. For the residents who are mobile, the staff always have engaging activities going on to keep them active. My wife and I visit mom three or four times a week at completely different times, and the facility is consistently running well. It is clear that the staff genuinely enjoy working there. Two of the leaders, Pierre and Joanne, are exceptional. They are always available to answer our questions or just to chat and let us know how mom is doing. If you have to make the tough decision of placing a loved one in a long-term care facility, I highly recommend Harborview. It is a place where you can feel completely comfortable knowing your family member is safe and well cared for.

I am the wife of a Veteran who was transferred to Harborview as a patient that has to recover from serious medical procedures which caused him to lose his mobility. We are on the journey to get that back. Harborview has been and is continuing to be a very positive experience for care, as well as physical and occupational therapy. The staff is attentive and kind. The administration has been open and supportive. The facility is clean..smells clean..appearances are pleasant. Things are well maintained. The facility houses many types of patients. Patients all appear cared for and content in this current stage of their lives. The food is fine. A wide variety is provided l and all needs are met with new staff always looking for ways to satisfy all foody desires. We are very happy with all the services we are receiving. As the spouse I stay very engaged and advised on the patient care, wants and needs. I highly recommend this facility as a positive experience. We should always expect the basics of kindness and care for our loved ones. The extras are a bonus and with encouragement and support from family and friends, the experience and success for patient recovery and improvement is definitely a positive from the Harborview staff and caregivers. I thank them for all they do. It is quite the challenge to stay focused, compassionate and kind as our loved ones are in their last chapters of life. Thank you Harborview, you all Rock!
