I contacted the Naples location, speaking with Michael Cantasano. We had a great conversation and he assured me that, given he has hundreds of practitioners available, it made the most sense to set up and appt. a couple days before I needed post-surgical assistance. I hesitated, as I wanted to shore this very important aspect of my surgery ASAP, but he insisted. He then apparently inadvertently called me a couple weeks before my surgery (thinking I had again just inquired) and we chatted again, re-establishing that our appointment (10:30AM two days before my surgery date) is in the books. I felt very re-assured and he even suggested he or his wife would be willing to assist me with taking care of my dogs, my greatest concern in the entire post-surgical period.<br><br>Unfortunately, Michael didn't call at out appointed time and after calling in several times, leaving messages, I was told if I call back / am reconnected I might be lucky to connect someone else who could arrange my care (rather than Michael). I was also told that only Michael could arrange for my post-surgical care. He was contacted when I was on hold and I was told he was speaking with a doctor. He messaged me a couple hours after our appt. time and noted he'd had an emergency.<br><br>These are not issues I was willing to put to chance (after spending a sum total of nearly 2 hours on the phone) hoping I'd be set up with post-surgical care through this company.<br><br>My thought: Ask to be set up and assured care ASAP and don't wait for a last week appt, as it may create undo stress. It seems that your first contact person and/or Michael will be the centerpiece of arranging care with this company, so be aware.<br><br>NOTHING about my initial conversations gave me concern other than that I though it odd to not shore down and appointment earlier, but I trusted that either Michael would make the system run smoothly or that with "over 500" practitioners available, their operation was large enough to ensure someone else could take up the slack and get me set up in a timely fashion.<br><br>Of course, I have no experience with the actual care provided. My experience was simply that of not being able to efficiently set up my care in a way that re-assured me I'd be taken care of post surgery.<br><br>I hope this helps someone in the future!
