Being at Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation center has been a very positive experience. I feel I've had excellent care and the rehab portion was very needed by me and I did not realize it. I learned safety measures and I feel more confident about ambulating. I was also blessed by some good exercise that I did not consider work, but pleasant and know I need to incorporate in my daily living. The staff was friendly, joyful and almost made me forget I was in a rehab center.. I would highly recommend Harbor Lakes. The patient must be willing to cooperate and work with the staff to truly benefit from the experience. The therapist made exercise fun. It was a joyful experience for me and the employees are kind and encouraging. I am so grateful my MD encouraged me to go to a rehab facility as an inpatient. May God continue to bless this facility and all those employed there. The facility was very clean , the food was good and there were plenty of activities to be involved in ...a mini vacation! Thank you for your genuine concern and care.

Harbor Lakes is a wonderful facility. The staff is caring and friendly, the admissions director really made the process easy and was so kind when we had a million questions. On top of all that the facilities were very clean. It's obvious how much they care about their patients.

Choosing a nursing home for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions a family can face, but the entire team at Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehab make it a very easy choice. The quality of care provided there is absolutely exceptional. Every one of their nurses are the gold standard. They are professional, incredibly attentive, and highly competent in managing all medical needs. It is with complete confidence i say I believe in their ability to properly care for residents, ensuring every clinical and comfort need is met with diligence and expertise. This level of excellence extends to all staff members. From the CNA’s and activity coordinators to the dining and housekeeping teams, to the therapy personal. Every single person treats loved one and all residents with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. The aides handle all personal needs with patience and genuine kindness. The activity coordinator ensures a high quality of life with a constant stream of engaging, fun, and meaningful programs that foster community and keep spirits high. The Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists are motivational and effective, helping loved ones achieve real, measurable milestones with personalized and positive programs. They all actively seek ways to enrich the residents' days, which creates such a vibrant and positive atmosphere. The dietary and housekeeping deserve just as much recognition. The kitchen serve delicious, fresh and nutritious meals while managing all restrictions which shows a true care for the residents’ well being. Housekeeping keeps rooms and common areas spotless, sanitary and smelling freshly. Crucially, the management team deserves immense praise. It is clear they have fostered a culture of accountability, seamless communication, and deep compassion. They are approachable, proactive in addressing any concerns, and their strong leadership ensures the operation of the facility. Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehab creates an enormous sense of peace knowing your loved one is not just being looked after, but is truly being cared for by a team that feels like an extended family. Every single employee, from the management to the nurses and CNAs as well as the support staff, work together to make this more than a facility. Its a true home where your loved one is cared for with competence and heart. If you are looking for a facility where exceptional medical care meets heartfelt human connection, this is the place.

The nurses and caregivers are not only highly skilled, but also genuinely compassionate. They treat each resident with dignity and respect, and it’s clear that they truly care about the well-being of everyone there. The management team is approachable, responsive, and genuinely committed to creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. They invest in ongoing training, provide the resources we need to do our jobs well, and encourage open communication. What stands out most, though, is the sense of community. The residents aren't just patients — they’re part of a family. It's a privilege to care for them and to be part of a team that treats them with such respect, kindness, and dignity every single day.

There should be more then a five star option because 5 isn’t enough for this place. I don’t have any prior experience in facilities like this but I could not imagine there is a better one in the entire US then Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehab. Everyone here expresses a sincere desire to be over the top accommodating for each patient. The food is amazing to put the cherry on the top. When all you see on the news is bad reports about facilities like these it really makes you think twice about going to one. I feel I was extremely lucky and blessed to end up at the one I was at for my rehab this month. I feel as though there is nothing the staff wouldn’t do within there capabilities to fully accommodate each patient. I truely hope nothing but the best for everyone but if you end up in a similar position as I that you come to Harbor Lakes Nursing and Rehab. Any further compliments given you just seems redundant.
