About Granbury Care Center

Granbury Care Center is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Granbury, Texas with a licensed capacity of 174 residents. The community offers rehabilitation services, memory care, and ongoing nursing care.

Family experiences at Granbury Care Center are sharply divided. Positive reviewers consistently praise the therapy staff for effective rehabilitation outcomes, noting one family saw their father regain strength in just 15 days. Admirers also highlight compassionate, responsive nursing staff, particularly in the memory care unit, and commend the facility's cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere. However, a significant portion of reviews raise serious concerns about inconsistent care quality, including allegations of neglect, inadequate wound care, unresponsive call lights, and unaddressed resident requests. One family noted that staffing and administration changes led to noticeable improvements in care standards. The facility earned a 4.4/5 Google rating across 118 reviews, but this aggregate masks the polarized feedback families report.

Prospective residents and families should carefully weigh the strong endorsements for therapy and certain nursing units against the persistent complaints about responsiveness and basic care standards. Given the volume of reviews and the clear pattern of both excellence and serious lapses, thorough individual assessment and site visits are essential before admission.
