When our loved one was staying at Hanceville Nursing Home and Rehab, he received excellent, kind, and compassionate care. The Office Staff, Rehab Facility Employees, and Honeysuckle Hall Employees always had his best interest in their hearts and treated us very kindly. We highly recommend this facility to care for a loved one. Family of Charles "Sonny " Nail

Having transferred back to near home and doctors from a rehab facility in Florida following an accident, I was able to offer an honest comparison. This place is awesome. The PT's, OT's, CNA's, and nurses were the best. Caring, kind, helpful, considerate, and loving. The food was good, too, providing menus for choices. I credit these fine folks doing much to get me ready to go home where I have continued to greatly improve. Thanks to Hanceville N & R for being a wonderful place to recover!

Unfortunately, my husband got denied care because “he is too young”. I don’t understand being “too young” to need care when the hospital is refusing to send in home and instead referring him out for rehab. I know they have guidelines and criteria to meet BUT his age disqualifies him?? How is this permissible?? People of ALL ages need care and this is so upsetting considering we live and work close to this facility and specifically requested it due to proximity. We are now left with no choice but to drive a little more than an hour (one-way) each day to simply visit my husband and keep a check on his progress. Warning: If you are under the age of 55, they won’t accept you! And, IF I should learn that they do, I will not hesitate to sue because age is the most ridiculous reason to deny care to someone in dire need of it.

My mom was moved to HNRC in January of this year at the age of 101. She was there for about 10 months until she passed. The staff on Moody Hall took great care of her, and I never felt that she was not being properly cared for. Her room and the facility was always clean and the staff treated her like she was family. All the staff I dealt with were professional and responded to any question or request I had. Thanks HNRC for your love and care of my mom.
