I was a little scared when my mother wàs placed here, It's in the old hospital and is a little dated. She has been there 3 months now and is doing great. The staff is great with her. Always have activities for her, she gets her nails done, and loves it, but misses her home🙁

Can say enough about all the excellent care my mom received while she was at the Folsom Center. Love all the nurses on the 4th floor.

I stayed at Folsom Nursing and Rehab in Cullman for two weeks. It has the ugliest building you have ever seen. I think it was the old hospital. It doesnt have great parking and there is not much of that. You walk in the front doors and there is water damage on the ceiling, it’s just not pretty. They are working hard to fix and and remodel and make it welcoming. Then you go up in the elevator and it’s a different world. From the Doctors to the nurses, From the CNA’s to the bath aids. From the Activities Director to the Therapist and the House keeping. Even the people who fix meals. They are all so professional and better than that they treat you like family. I was in a lot of pain and they stayed on top of that making sure I got my medications when I needed. I’m a very picky eater so every day they came in and sat with me and helped me pick items to eat that worked for me. I’ve never been in rehab before, this is a first and I’m telling you this is an Amazing facility. The way they are so gentle and caring with the older residents can only be called amazing. When the nurse has 60 patients to give medications to and still has a smile on her face when she is done is incredible. You have Doctors to check on you. Social worker’s, respiratory, they make sure you have A1 care. The way the are so patient and understanding is Awsome. They absolutely deserve 5 stars , I’m really going to miss them a lot. So if your looking for a nursing home or Rehab facility, This is the place to go. There is so much more I could write and I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but I would recommend this place absolutely as Top notch .

I want to take this time to share, brag on this wonderful staff place . Each one of the workers it's not just a job . They truly care about their patients. Each to them seems like family . It shows from the beginning person getting the paperwork started, to the next person they make sure to have each person at their doctors appointment on time, safely . One less worry for the family . Also the food is very detailed on what each persons needs are met . Then the nursing staff goes way beyond their call of duty to help, improvement each one to getting well, getting back safely to their rooms,home, family . On a short amount of time . Checking on them at night,checking sugar levels before every meal. Spending lots of long personal hours one on one helping each one . Never a number to this staff . Then theraphy I can truly say they take pride , push each one to the fullest extent. One of the best theraphy I've ever seen or been around . Oh yes can't forget about the cleaning rooms . So much pride in their work. Very clean, smells fresh . Every room is done like it's their own home . Now I have saved the best for last these activities ladies they truly love their job . They go above., beyond. They reached for the stars First off each month they celebrate a huge party with the birthdays lots of cake, singing, dancing, music. A very happy day . Then some times like Mothers day they do hair up dos, nails polished . They take them outside in the summer for shade to get them out of their rooms, see different scenery. they have Bingo 2 a times a week with good presents to win. They play other games through the week that are fun, different try to keep smiles on , keep them busy. Always try to get all in volved that might wanna play . They dress up for each holiday and put lots of efforts in to makeing the patients feel happy, never alone . Every week the activities ladies has at least 4 to 5 fun things to do,to get involved. make new friends,get out of the room . They give out ice-cream on Fridays at 2 pm. All the residents can't Waite on that . They have gospel music, preaching 2 a week . Just like a church service in their home town .These ladies each, every one give out lots of hugs. huge smiles. Most all the residents are happy to call this place home . This staff each one know their patients by name and never a number . Always giving out personal care, great advise,lots of patience with each, every one .I've been in , around several the last few years and by far when you have to leave family here .You will always be happy, knowing they are in great care ,each resident will be as happy as they possibly can be . We are blessed to call this our home for our family away from home .

This was my 1st experience with rehab & I was extremely scared. I had a broken hip & wrist but everyone that worked there was so kind.. those sweet girls always greeted me as if I wasn't a patient but a family member & would stop just to CK on me to see if I needed anything. I'm not good with names but the entire MGMT team came to my room...very impressive...each employee did everything from making my bed comfortable, my food great, my shower not embarrassing & everything in between perfect...these people treat you beyond good & they will never know how much they helped me because I'm not a good patient. Thank you ...Diane ❤️
