I would tell them that the office staff is extremely disorganized, the manager is demeaning and childish with the patients. The nursing staff that I saw take care of my father was absolutely irritated with having to help him get into bed. He could not feed himself due to advanced-stage Alzheimer’s, and the staff did not take the time to feed him. He lost 69 lbs in the time he was in the Hamilton which amounted in extreme health deterioration in just a few months. The place is filthy and although they promised to bathe him and trim his nails, they didn’t and he was filthy. My father was treated horribly, very neglected and ended up in the hospital with Terrible bed-sores. I would tell Someone to do anything it took to avoid sending their loved one to this facility. My fathers sores and filth as well as his extreme weight loss could only be attributed to neglect. Because he couldn’t advocate for himself, he was left to rot. I would hate to see anyone else treated in such a way. I’m adding a picture of my father’s nails when we saw him at the Hamilton. They were far worse when he was admitted to the hospital with severe bed-sores. He was not taken care of.

The place reeked like urine, an overwhelming stench. Residents were dirty and looked drugged out. The rooms were overcrowded still in violation of a 2017 survey for room size violations. My father's wheelchair came up missing. They played with dads meds taking him off critical meds and making him Ill. He had both pneumonia and the flu within 5 weeks of admission. They tried to charge me more than I owed before the Medicaid letter came in. The place was filthy, dusty and unkept. How they passed a survey is beyond me.
