Had my wife in there while I was on respite care. They didn't provide my wife with medications for almost a week. She has Huntington's Disease, Staff too busy with head buried in their phone. Stay away from this place.

The patient's room really needs a deep clean, specifically floors, especially behind doors and the walls. The staff is extremely friendly. My father said the food is good. We enjoyed the Sunday worship service provided. We are looking for a very structured physical training schedule and it's only the first week so I want to give it time, but we are not seeing the communication or consistency regarding Physical Therapy. I want to repeat that all requests we have had with staff has been acknowledged, And we are very pleased with that.

This is your red flag. My mom was sent here by the hospital to regain strength so she could start cancer treatment, she died 2 days later. She was unable to walk and in and out of consciousness and they just threw a brief on her and left her until she started showing signs of respiratory distress. I wasn't able to be with her when she was transported at 2 am on Saturday 4/18/26, and couldn't make it up to the facility until the following day, but before I could (24 hours after she had arrived there) the nurse called me, Denise Kennedy, and asked if she was long-term or short-term and if they should get her treatment for respiratory distress!? This was my first time hearing from them!! I said, "Yes! She is short term, there for rehab, call an ambulance now!!" I called back when I arrived at the hospital, which is across the street from the facility, and the lady that answered said the ambulance was there. The ambulance arrived at the ER 20 minutes after that. This whole time, 40 minutes of hell, I'm imagining the worst and hoping for the best! When the EMTs were moving her out of the ambulance, I let them know that she was my Mom and they asked me a few questions and said the facility was only able to give them her name!! They had no other information on her! She was wearing the same hospital gown I had saw her in last and was wearing a diaper (for the first time ever) that reeked and was completely full. We (the ER team and I) could tell it had been on for a long time! I called the facility back to discuss her vitals and care and to hear from the nurse what happened - and after 20 minutes on hold the lady who answered offered to have someone call me back, and no one ever did!! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! I read these reviews before sending my Mom here and there wasn't anything that stood out as a concern. My mom was the most wonderful, kind, and loving person on this earth. They provided no care and comfort for her. Miramar Beach Rehabilitation should be shut down!

My mother in law lives here and is very happy. The staff is friendly, respectful and skilled. There are fun activities, the food is good and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. The nurses are happy and interact with the residents in a caring and upbeat manner. Administrative staff are also very helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. It feels like a family when you visit. Highly recommend!
