I was impressed by the caring staff, the spotless rooms, and the thoughtful accommodations at Destination Health and Rehabilitation Center. The physical therapy sessions were tailored and effective, and the overall vibe felt truly supportive. If happiness had a location on Google Maps it would be here. Highly recommend for anyone needing quality rehab care.

My MIL was discharged from Encompass-Dothan to home. She was not ready for her home setting. Destination worked with the case manager and got a referral sent to Destination. She is now “inpatient” rehab to get back to home setting. We are so impressed with the plan of care and the support following discharge.

I can not thank the TEAM at Destination Health and Rehabilitation Center enough for their incredible care for my dad while he is in the facility. Dee, the receptionist, is a gem. She shows true compassion and always greets you with a smile, which is so important when entering the facility. She always asks how the patient is doing and takes time to help family members. From day one, the nursing staff was attentive, compassionate, and truly went above and beyond to make my dad comfortable. The therapy department is top-notch—my dad’s physical therapist, Stephanie, is knowledgeable and is pushing my dad to meet his goals, helping him regain his mobility. I could not go without mentioning my dad’s FAVORITE CNA’s, Kim, Keisha, Abby #1, and Abby, who goes above and beyond in their job. They are professional, knowledgeable, and treat my father with immense dignity while assisting with his daily routines. The administrative staff needs accolades as well. Emily (the Director), the other Emily and Brooke are very approachable and responsive to every concern or question me and my family have had. They are hands-on, they walk the floor and know their residents by name. They have helped with the insurance process to make it painless. The facility is spotless, welcoming, and my dad says the food is surprisingly good. I have such peace of mind knowing my dad is in such great hands while he is here. I highly recommend Destination Health and Rehabilitation Center to anyone needing inpatient rehabilitation or long term care.

This facility took care of my mother-in-law until they were not able any longer - insurance issues. Most all of the staff was kind and respectful (according to my mother-in-law). It was clean and well cared for as far as I could see. The only thing she complained about was the carrots she was given with her meals...lol. I think she told us she wasn't a rabbit. Unfortunately, my husband's mother passed only 4 days after she was denied further care by insurance company. The facility did what they could and made many recommendations. But time stood still for no one. Thank you so much for your efforts and lovely book you sent to my husband. Blessings to the caregivers and patients in 2026.

If you care about your loved ones you will not put them in this place. My husband was there for some 20 plus days, he was allowed to lay in dirty diapers for hours, he could not feed himself but they still brought his tray and put it on the side table and no one bothered to feed him. It took hours to get his medication after he asked for it. Never bothered to get him out of bed to sit in a chair. I know they are understaffed but the patient should not receive this type of care.
