My parent recently was in the rehab section. The staff was compassionate and the rehab section was great. They worked very hard with my parent to make it sure they could return home safely.

Good Fairview is not run by an ethical honest administrator. She promised to have her recruior call me over a month ago.I have called her three times since then and she doesn't call me back. I wouldn't trust them with my loved ones.

I had a parent stay here and it was awful. This place puts 2 people into a single bedroom and charges 16k per month. There are not enough aides to help. They leave patients sitting in their chair and ignore them. The bathroom was never cleaned by the staff. A woman across the hall fell and it took over 15 mins for an aide to show. The food is always cold and tasted bad. Overall not a place where they care about the elderly. I moved my parent to another facility. I also just received a bill for medicine given to my parent months after they left this facility.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. When my mother in law arrived for her first day, we were never given any notice that you couldn’t have some cash on you, inventory was NEVER taken and a key was NEVER given to lock the drawer to keep her stuff safe. When my MIL’s money went missing they searched everywhere in her room, her purse etc. nothing they could do because they couldn’t prove it happened. Now mind you, the people searching were the social worker and other administrators. When the problem was brought up again a couple weeks later the social worker denied even knowing what my MIL was talking about. The care was ok until her insurance stopped paying is when they began to not treat her like she didn’t matter. Except one nurse who is truly truly amazing!! Thankfully we got my MIL out of there today and she now resides at another facility! These people don’t care about the patients or staff like they should!! No one ever returns messages left! Piss poor faculty. Extremely disappointed!!!

This information is coming from what my aunts and uncles just told me at a recent family reunion. Pre-pandemic, this place was really good. They were on top of everything. Post-pandemic, it’s pretty bad. It appears that all the administrators who had talent decided to retire during the pandemic, leaving incompetent, overwhelmed people to fill the void. If you call an administrator and leave a question on their voicemail, don’t expect anyone to call you back. Most of them will not answer email. Admissions will call you back only if it does something for them, like your grandmother went to the hospital for ten days and they want you to pay $300 a day to hold her rehab room while she’s gone. 50% of the workers wear their mask under their nose. No one cares. My grandmother was supposed to get a B12 injection once a month and they just stopped giving it to her. The head of nursing told my uncle, “I guess this just fell through the cracks.” She never got back to him as to how long it had been that they had forgotten to do this. They sent my grandmother to skilled nursing ($16,000 a month) because they said her cognition was failing, and when she refused medical treatment (for something quite simple) they did not bother notifying anyone in our family so we could visit and convince her that she needed this treatment or she might get an infection and die. All it would have taken was a phone call. Too busy watching YouTube videos, I guess. At least that is what I saw the night workers doing the one time I went late one night with my family. I wrote a few emails to the director of this place, and she did write back, but it was clear that she never leaves her office on the first floor to walk around to see what is really happening in the building. What she told me happens and what really happens is very different. The family eventually got my grandmother out of that place.
