Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea

Good Samaritan Society – Albert Lea serves the Albert Lea community with a range of care options, from skilled nursing care to assisted living, designed to support residents' independence while meeting changing health needs.

Skilled nursing care is available 24 hours a day, with an approach that focuses on caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The community includes two assisted living options: Bancroft Creek Estates and Hidden Creek. Both offer private apartments with lockable doors that residents can furnish and decorate with their own belongings. Apartments come with furnished appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, range, and dishwasher, along with basic utilities including water, sewer, electricity, heating, cooling, and refuse collection. General upkeep and maintenance of apartments and appliances is provided.

Residents have access to coffee, tea, and snacks available 24 hours, with additional refreshments provided in the afternoon. Hidden Creek also offers fruit as part of these offerings, along with access to amenities such as a library, activity room, private dining room, lounges, gathering areas, sunrooms, and an exercise room, some of which can be reserved for private use.

Scheduled transportation is available for local shopping trips and medical appointments, and Hidden Creek also includes transportation to scheduled community events along with assistance coordinating appointments and transportation. Both assisted living communities offer priority access to healthcare services at Good Samaritan Society – Albert Lea, including rehabilitation, therapy, and long-term care as needed.

Activities including spiritual ministries, recreational programs, exercise opportunities, and well-being activities are communicated through an activity calendar, supporting residents' ongoing engagement and quality of life.
