My mom (73) stayed at Good Samaritan in Faribault after a brain bleed, and we had a really good experience overall. She made great progress with her recovery, and the staff were always so kind and welcoming. The place is huge, and the goats and chickens are such a fun touch for the residents. On the flip side, when she was discharged, the nurse forgot to include her medication list, which was stressful. The food wasn’t great, small portions and not very tasty. Also, the beds and pillows didn’t look very comfy. Even with those downsides, we’re very thankful for the care she received and the friendly atmosphere.

We toured the home, looks great. But have been trying to get a call back from assessment team and it is non existent. 4 calls left and no response. Called administrator and told I would receive a call back that day. Again it didn’t happen. Beautiful place but I guess if this is how efficient their admin staff is , we will need to go elsewhere.
