I am an elder in a power wheelchair and oxygen. I've been chronically ill for over 20 yrs. I have lived here at Golden West for 1.5 yrs.<br><br>My Golden West /BHP studio; I had some deep concerns and issues.<br><br>The Golden West team heard me out, got a resident service advocate that helped me a tremendous amount and we all worked tirelessly together to find a solution.<br><br>I am moving into a beautiful apartment here in the same community that checks all the boxes, is affordable and in a population of residents that I love being around and doing things with.<br><br>The Golden West Community is close to medical facilities, hospitals etc. Let alone activities, in house physical therapy, salon, dining, store and much more.<br><br>I am beyond blessed and grateful for this opportunity to start again and be able to age in place with joy and gratitude.<br><br>Thank you BHP and Golden West for all your compassion, efforts and willingness to make this all happen for me. I'll post some pictures once I'm settled;)

I attended my first activity at Tantra Community Center tonight. It was hosted and arranged by Jamillah Richmond, who did a fantastic job in making everyone feel welcome and included. Jamillah was very professional and personable and I will definitely attend events in the future!
