I lived here for 4 months, loved everyone. They really do all treat each other like family. I've been gone 5 weeks, and trying to go back to stay! I love this place!

In the two months that I have been here, I have found that the therapy group (PT and OT) has been extraordinary in helping me rehabilitate. Under their guidance, I have increased my strength and function while I have been here. In addition, they have presented a cheery mode that often brightened me up while I was depressed. In addition they have gone above and beyond their duties to help me with other items I needed help with. You have a team here that should not be broken up and you should reward them accordingly.

Visited this group for two years. Had multiple billing challenges, they did not process claims to correct insurance Then blocked my care. So I paid a final$75 bill to get seen for a Brown Recluse Spider Bite. They processed payment, asked me to return later in the day. At 2:25 I returned for a 2:30p appointment, to be seen for spider bite. Girl at desk said ID and Insurance. I said, I only have ID no insurance. She said (louder) You have NO Insurance! I said nothing and nodded. She repeated YOU HAVE NO INSURANCE? I was humiliated and shook head again No Then I said: No I do not and under HiPAA I am protected from you announcing it to entire waiting room. Then a manager appeared. Then I was aware, my needs were not important nor in their care. So I left quietly and will never return to this so called Care Group of Medicine.

The photos shown are not the same facility. This facility should be shut down. They have building structure issues and major issues with the plumbing. The staff highly suspicious if you walk around the facility. I was visiting a friend there. As well as I personally have another friend that was placed there for recovery. It gave her nightmares. When I was visiting my lady friend she was explaining they were short staffed and were being fed dinner in a brown paper bag. With a sandwich peanut butter/jelly and an apple daily.? It is dirty and safety issues on top of being unclean it is cruel to patients there to have to live with such conditions?

My name is Ronald Henderson. I was here as a resident 5 years ago and I am now returning for a short stay. Since then, the building has had major improvements. The cleaning crew is stellar. They are doing a wonderful job. There have been improvements to the rooms like new floors and paint jobs. Melanie the director of nursing is excellent. I respect the work she does, she is respectful and caring of the residents. She hustles and the CNA's are also great. Jen is the assistant director of nursing who also gets the job done and is straight to the point. The staff here are always willing to help me. The attitudes and hustle of the facility has had major improvement, and I appreciate how resident focused Glenwood Springs Healthcare is. I have also been impressed with the kitchen staff and their attentiveness to detail for everyone here with dietary restrictions.
