Glen at Hiland Meadows

The Glen at Hiland Meadows is an independent living community in Queensbury, New York, sponsored by The Eddy and Trinity Health System. The community is located minutes from the Adirondacks with breathtaking mountain views and offers easy access to shopping, restaurants, community services, and cultural, educational, and sporting events in the Glens Falls and Lake George areas.

The community features 74 one- and two-bedroom apartments, 18 two-bedroom cottages, and 28 garden apartments that opened in Fall 2022. All residences are maintenance-free and include digital cable, local and long distance telephone, and wireless Internet. Residents receive housekeeping services including semi-annual deep cleaning, interior and exterior maintenance of residences and grounds, trash and snow removal, and 24-hour security with an emergency call system.

The Glen recently added a 5,000 square foot Wellness Center featuring a fully equipped fitness center with wellness programs, water aerobics, exercise classes including balance and strength training, gentle yoga, line dancing, and senior-friendly cardio classes. The community also offers a pool and spa, communications and fitness center, fireside library and lounge, and a resident portal providing access to community information and electronic requests for maintenance and transportation. Residents receive a personalized email account and access to Touch Town, an in-house broadcasting channel featuring movies and community information.

For residents who need additional assistance, enhanced assisted living services are available through a partner provider, offering help with personal care, medication management, and maintaining a healthy diet. The community includes a Resident Services Advisor Program as part of the monthly service fee to help residents connect with outside services and resources.

The community is designed around the philosophy that older adults have the capacity to grow, develop, and modify their lives at any age, with potential to optimize health and well-being in mind, body, and spirit. Residents enjoy stimulating social activities and life-enriching programming throughout the community.
