The Activities Department does an amazing job and is led by Rosie, the Director, who is loving caring and creates a warm, engaging, and positive environment for the residents. The staff Samoya, Derron, and Dei’Adrah are caring, patient, and always encourage participation. From games and music to outings and special events, there is always something enjoyable to look forward to. I especially enjoy the bus trips to the mall and the movies. I have even learned so much from playing bingo that I never knew before. The team works hard to keep residents active, involved, and emotionally supported. Their dedication and compassion truly make a difference in the residents’ lives.

Horrible! I was only supposed to be there 4 days because i was going to future care capital region but when I called they refused to take my call. Apparently, they dont allow you to transfer between facilities. Dialysis was freezing from the time I got there until 1:30 and they just kept saying there's nothing they can do for me other than offer me a very thin blanket. My blood pressure dropped to 100/60 and my fingers were blue so I asked for hot bottle, warm blanket, anything that would warm me up and was told no. The staff doctor i was assigned me a doctor that I explained I had been diagnosed with Peeling Skin Syndrome which is a rash that causes intense itching and the only thing that helped was Benadryl. He put me on restriction. 1 Benadryl in the morning and 1 Benadryl at night. The daily dose is 12.5mg every 4-6 hours or 300mg in 24hrs. So why was I given only 50mg in 24hrs. Peeling Skin Syndrome itching is similar to Hives. From the time I got there I was itching constantly and the doctor and nurses did not care because they didn't believe the disease existed. They blamed the disease on the lack of dialysis. 2 phone calls to my dermatologist and allergist could have solved this problem. I've been asking to be discharged but my Social worker refuses to complete the paperwork. So instead I'm being tortured daily with reminders that if I leave I'll be given an AMA and no other facility will take me which I'm ok with that. Ive been suffering since I got here itching and in pain and the doctor continues to avoid me. It would be nice if they check their facts.

The food served to my friend today for lunch was unidentifiable . The item that was supposedly a portion of meat looked worse than my dog's food. Thank God I brought him a great lunch myself with snacks. Also his physician has ordered a cream for a rash to be applied twice a day. He requested a new tube yesterday morning since the 1st tube was used up. I was there for nearly 3 hours today and also requested his cream. Two different people said it would be taken care of. So I left around 3:30. It's now 7pm and he still has no cream for his rash. When I called the nurse's station around 6:30 , I let the phone ring about 20 times or more. No One Answered. Keep in mind, the request was originally made YESTERDAY. I can't wait for my friend to get out of that place!!
