My handicapped brother lives here and this place has been wonderful for him. They are so accommodating and great with communication (my brother is nonverbal so as a team, we are always trying to figure out his wants and needs). The staff know the residents really well and take time with each of them. The special events they sponsor with families are wonderful as well. I am very grateful for Azalea Place and all the staff that work there!

Frontida was a great place and I do appreciate the hard work most of the employees did and what they had to deal with. However, when I wrote my last review on March 31, 2023, I didn't know that they were not making sure my mom was taking her medication. For months, we dealt with my mom's mental health declining. She admitted stashing her pills in her chair at the end of 2022. You would think they would make sure she was taking them after that (why weren't they at that time??). When I checked her into a behavioral health hospital on April 20, 2023, after saying she wanted to blow her brains out, I found SEVEN pills, FIVE different, in her walker! Why weren't they making sure she was taking her medication? How long had this been happening?? This has to be why NO ONE - Frontida staff, their doctors, their psychiatrist and their behavioral health nurse could figure out why nothing was working for the last 10 months. Because they couldn't help her anymore, they kicked her out. I guess the worst part is that after reporting it again, not one word was said to me about it. I would have hoped to get a "That's not good, we'll check into it." or maybe a "We will try to find out what happened and take appropriate action." or "We will make sure that never happens again." Nothing. So, just be aware of what we dealt with. I hope no one else has to go through what we did and what the staff and other residents who had to deal with my mom during this time did. __________________________ Five years since my last review and my mom is still living there. Due to Covid and having to quarantine, she had some setbacks in her mental health but, Marquita and staff have been doing what they can to get her back on track! I am very thankful for that! When my mother first arrived at Frontida, Azalea Place, I was very concerned due to her suffering from severe anxiety and depression. She needed help, companionship and care we could not provide consistently. After a month, she turned into a very different person. This was exactly what she needed! The staff has been wonderful and the home is wonderful! Thank you!!

I make many stops at client locations throughout Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Included are visits to assisted living and long-term care facilities. I can honestly say that the cleanest and most well-maintained I’ve witnessed are under the Frontida assisted living umbrella. The staff is vibrant and helpful and the atmosphere for the residents is warm and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend/assist a family member to locate here.

I have lived at Azalea Place for almost 5 months now. What I know about the operation here is good. There is a willingness to give the residents the care that they need, and mostly do it with a good spirit. They do a good job making sure your medications are always available and that your room is clean, etc. They are willing to help residents with personal requests when it is reasonable to do so. The meals are quite adequate, varied, and prepared in-house. It's a happy place, and I recommend it....

Finding Azalea for my daughter to call home has been a blessing to me and her. Knowing I needed to provide for her future care, I was fortunate to make the connection that has worked for us both. She is happier than she’s been in a long time. She has socialization and is surrounded by caring people and staff. She truly feels home. Thank you ☺️
