Not fully taking care of the residents, leaving them soiled ,dirty, not changing or showering the and shaving of the resident, not complying with family members request, not making sure they eat properly, keeping them sedated so they don't be bothered, not changing their clothes etc. Flies and Roaches ,flity room and roommate Urinal left full on the floor to be kicked over bathroom flity room smells, floors dirty but I really didn't have a choice the only place affordable in the resident's means. Food just left there tremendous weight loss.

I am currently a resident. I have had nothing but good experiences since I have been here. Recovering from sepsis. It's been a long road, and the nurses here do everything they can to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I am even considering a kitchen job here when I am discharged. I would leave 5 stars but no one is perfect. Lol

My mother was there for 4 months. The place was really clean. Didn’t have a nursing home smell like most when you walk in. The staff made every effort to take care of my mom, and make sure I was satisfied. Just like anywhere else y You have to be there to see about your own family. You have to visit Every holiday the facility celebrates with the residents. The administration and office staff had an open door. They listened and reacted quickly to any complaints I had. There will never be a perfect place for your love ones. I recommend this place absolutely glad I didn’t listen to the bad complaints I read.

This is by far the worst place that you can send a loved one. When I first went to visit, the room that they showed me was clean and the facility seemed really nice. Once my dad was admitted there I went to visit this time at night. It smelled so bad that I gagged and had to leave out. I went back in, they have a restroom in the hall way it was filthy. I proceeded to the room still gagging and decided to go outside where they let their patients go to smoke and sit outside. It is unsafe with no lights so you don’t know who you are walking up to until you get directly on them. Went to the counter to speak to the staff which was rude so I went back to my dad room. The bathroom inside of the room was not clean either. I did get my dad out of there because I would never want to stay in a place like that. This is not the place you want any one to stay in. Ferncrest Manor is literally a horror story at night time.

I was impressed with Ferecrest when I toured the facility. Though it is an older building it is always well maintained. The receptionist provides an excellent first impression. I enjoy chatting with her when I visit. The staff is friendly and always willing to speak with me. My questions are answered honestly. They are open to and respect my input concerning my son's care. Their concern is genuine. From the administrator to the support staff I have been impressed. Their goal is to provide the best medical care and quality of life possible for my son. They are well qualified, caring professionals. I know that my son is receiving and will continue to receive the best care available.
