I personally think it's the worst facility in Houston County. My mother have been there since I believe October of last year and she have been in transport to the hospital approximately about 6 times she has attract infection after infection and she's not being turnedlike she should. I thinks you need to be something done to stop this as of today she is back in the hospital this can't keep going on for her or any of there patients

This is no longer a locally owned place. It was bought by a corporation. Sine the new ownership the facility has gone steadily downhill. The meals aren’t like they were before. My friend that is there complains about the quality of the food. The housekeeping is terrible. It smells. The only good thing I can say is the nursing and CNA staff are caring. My friend is there because of a stroke that has left him unable to use his right side among other issues. This was a good facility until it was bought by this company and they are only interested in making money. The residents there deserve the same quality of service as before.

I want to thank everyone at Extendicare for caring for our mom, Anita Mixon. Our family was very pleased with the love, care, and compassion shown to Mom, as well as our family members. We miss Mom terribly, but we know she was well cared for in her last months. Thank you, again!❤️❤️❤️

Patients call buttons would be buzzing for up to 30 minutes are longer while the staff was standing around talking . They do not turn their patients unless a family member says something. The nurses stand around talking while the patients are in need of care , when ask for help they roll their eyes , then ignore you and go back talking amongst themselves. I was there for 9 straight hours. One persons call button sounded for 45 minutes with no response from nursing staff . House keepers do a excellent job the place is spotless, please don’t let that trick you into putting your love one in there! Because once there they do not receive proper care , which is the whole reason you put them there.
