Experience provides GREAT 1-on-1 care for my Mom. When they arrive, they are professional, smiling, and courteous. They are patient and seem to really understand Mom's needs. They have even mentioned some changes to Mom's care that were very helpful. As long as you can fit within their scheduling requirements, I highly recommend them! I feel like Mom is on good hands.

I previously gave Experience Care a 5-star review. I'm revising that based on a serious failure by their management.<br><br>The night before my father's contracted 6-10 AM care shift — the two most critical hours of his day being 6-8 AM — the director called at 4:24 PM to say no one was available and offered an 8-12 AM shift instead. That shift is worthless to my father, who is wheelchair bound and needs his catheter removed and help getting out of bed, dressed, and to breakfast before 8 AM. By 8 AM he is finished with breakfast and typically sleeps until lunchtime.<br><br>The director misrepresented our contract twice: claiming a 14-day cancellation policy (the contract says 7 days) and describing the 6-10 AM shift as a special "accommodation" when it is what his written contract explicitly specifies. She attempted to charge us a cancellation fee for a shift her company failed to fulfill if I did not agree to the 8-12 shift. Given this, I decided to have them do the 8-12 shift since I would have to pay for it regardless.<br><br>Most critically: I later discovered the caregiver who worked the replacement shift was never asked if she could do 6-10 AM. She was simply told her hours had changed. The director told me no one was available for 6-10. That was false. In addition, when I first signed my father up with this company I specifically asked them what happens if no one is available to fill a shift. I was told that one of the staff would do so. When I asked the director if she or one of the other staff would fill the shift she simply said “no one is available”.<br><br>The individual caregivers have been good. But this management failure — last-minute notification, contract misrepresentation, dishonesty about availability, and zero effort to solve the problem — is unacceptable for a company caring for vulnerable adults.<br><br>If you plan to use this company, see if they will put in writing that staff will cover any shift that cannot be filled by their caregivers.

I wanted to share some kudos for this amazing company! What a deep sense of gratitude and peace I have as I "pass the baton" as they are providing the logistical and caring help that my parents need. I'm so appreciative for the thoughtful TLC their team has already provided! I have to also say that one of the Care Coordinators, Jackie, is simply amazing! 👏The friendly and professional way she engages with the family, her servant-heartedness, vision for solutions, and her thoroughness are all so wonderful!! ❣️So glad for this great company and the great people in it!

My family is very happy we chose Experience to care for our dad.The staff is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and listens intently about our concerns and questions. Above all, our Dad is comfortable and happy with the caregivers!
