EverHaven is a nurse-led, private-pay non-medical home care service serving families in Bangor and across Maine. Every client receives a registered nurse–designed care plan with ongoing RN check-ins, delivered by carefully selected and trained caregivers focused on warmth and reliability.

The service addresses multiple care needs, including daily living support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, safe transfers, and mobility assistance; light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and hydration routines; and non-medical medication cueing and monitoring. EverHaven also offers companionship through conversation, walks, shared hobbies, and memory-friendly activities, as well as door-through-door assistance for errands, appointments, and outings.

Dementia care is a specific focus, with calm, consistent routines and familiar caregivers designed to reduce confusion and support daily quality of life. The service also specializes in supporting safer transitions home after hospitalization, with RN-designed care plans emphasizing recovery details during the fragile first weeks at home.

The RN team brings over 15 years of intensive care and emergency experience and provides weekly summaries and clear communication to keep families informed as care needs evolve. EverHaven offers evening, night, and weekend care availability, practical home safety reviews with actionable recommendations to reduce fall risks, and respite care that gives family caregivers time to rest and recharge.
