There is good and bad everywhere you go.<br>Some of the staff are great people who are there to truly help others.<br>The rooms are clean and it doesn't smell.<br>The thievery on small things is what I have a problem with.<br>Everything starts from the TOP / management...<br>Places like this doesn't do well with not hiring staff with sticky fingers.<br>I'm trying to get management to replace an item that was taken from a family member at the facility and it's like pulling teeth.

Having loved another local facility for several years, it was a difficult decision to relocate a family member but we felt the needs were consistently lacking there and that the time had come to relocate. Let me tell you that it was literally the best decision ever. ALL of the staff at LCC are dedicated to their residents and their wellbeing! There is a huge shortage of staff at all nursing homes anymore and yet my family member is bathed on a regular basis, with extra attention given to areas of concern. They have addressed concerns we didn’t even know we had because they are truly in tune with the individual resident norms and changes. This family member struggled with keeping weight on at the other facility and somehow magically has not only reached a normal desired weight but passed that up and now needs to be careful not to let their weight get too high. When in for a visit recently I was asked if I would like them to bring 2 trays down, so I could enjoy dinner with the family member. It may not be the most high tech and expensive facility around but I promise you that the staff there exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds! Thank you so much for this! Oh and the therapy is top notch as well for the gait concerns I’d had when first transitioning the family member there are tremendously improved as well. The move….Best decision ever!!! Written when it was owned by Petersen. It’s under new ownership now but so far it’s still a good fit for that family member.

Low staffed and not too clean. Memory care is not locked. Not a good place if you're expecting improvement.

All of the nursing staff are very caring and helpful, management staff are very involved, always making sure residents are the top priority.
