My brother was diagnosed with neurotrophic keratitus, an eye condition where the nerves on your cornea start to die. The treatment prescribed entailed administering 1 drop of medication 6 times a day, exactly 2 hours apart, every day for 8 weeks. Because Arthur lives alone and is incapable of self administering, we had to find a home care service that could do this. Through word of mouth, we were directed to Ethicare Home Health Services, owned and run by Michael Orange. Within a week, Michael had set up a schedule and filled it with an amazing group of dedicated nurses, who came to Art's house every 2 hours to adminster the drops. Through Michael's skills and dedication to details, not one drop was missed in the 8 weeks. We would HIGHLY recommend Ethicare to those looking for a competent, compassionate homecare service.

Our healthcare system is in shambles. It’s disheartening that our parents reach a point where healthcare can no longer afford their well-being, leaving the family to shoulder the responsibility of their care. At the age of 95, my mother, as expected, has her share of medical issues that necessitate occasional nursing assistance. As most people will soon realize, such help will eventually need to be provided by out-of-pocket nurse care. I can tell you from experience, finding reliable care is a difficult process. I had to research multiple agencies and when I had thought I found the perfect one, they had issues with staff reliability. Right now, in Monmouth County (and I suspect elsewhere), there is a severe shortage of nurses. The agency could not provide reliable care and I had to look elsewhere. I stumbled upon Ethicare Home Health Services and was intrigued by the positive reviews it had received. I placed a call to its owner, Michael Orange, who explained not only his personal approach to care, but being very careful not to overpromise and underperfom like a lot of these agencies tend to do. Michael was a blessing for my mother. His professional and caring manner of providing care was truly commendable. He was patient, open to questions, and most importantly, reliable. He always showed up for every scheduled appointment on time. I would consider Michael and Ethicare Home Health Services to be the epitome of the kind of care one would aspire to receive.

My experience with Ethicare Home Health Services has been extraordinary. They are kind, patient, caring and professional. My mom (who is 95/suffering from dementia) felt comfortable with them from the first day of care. I also felt comfortable and secure whenever they came to stay at my home.They were always punctual and came with a smile on their face. I would highly recommend Ethicare to anyone that needs care for their loved one. Working with Michael was a pleasure.
