The Esplanade is a well-run, clean assisted living facility in a great location. The staff is consistently friendly, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between relaxed and professional. Management has been attentive, responsive, and very helpful with every aspect of the support our mom has needed. Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend The Esplanade to other families.

Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I could not be happier with The Esplanade of Palisades! From the moment my mother moved in, the care and compassion she has received have been outstanding. The entire team is warm, friendly, and always ready to help — it truly feels like a community built on kindness and respect. A special thank-you to Executive Director Alex Goldberger, whose dedication and responsiveness make all the difference. Alex always takes the time to address any questions or concerns quickly and thoughtfully, which gives our family great peace of mind. The facility itself is clean, bright, and well-maintained, and every staff member treats residents with genuine care. My mother is very happy living there, and seeing her so comfortable and well cared for means the world to us. We highly recommend The Esplanade of Palisades to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and compassionate assisted living environment.

My grandmother stayed at Esplanade at Palisades, and I honestly can’t say enough great things about this place. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly cared for. The entire team is incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They always went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well taken care of, and that gave our whole family peace of mind. It’s not easy trusting others with someone you love, but they made it feel effortless.

I am very happy with the independent living community here. The staff truly care about the residents and go out their way to help. The building is well maintained, and there are plenty of activities and social events that make it easy to stay active and meet people. It really feels like a community rather than just a place to live. I am truly happy that I have placed my mom at the Palisades. Thank you so much Alex and team. Job well done.

My mom and both of my in-laws resided at the Esplanade for almost 3 years. As I visited almost daily, I became very familiar with the environment, the routines, the staff and many of the residents and friends of my family members. The physical grounds of the Esplanade are beautiful and well maintained. The lobby and open living room are inviting and comfortable. Upon entering the building you are warmly welcomed by Diane or Prince - two very caring and capable staff members My mom particularly enjoyed playing Blackjack and attending ChitChat cafe on Friday mornings along with many of the other special presentations and celebrations - programming organized and delivered by the supremely energetic and immensely capable Janice. Although the hallways and some of the rooms are a little dated, the building itself is maintained and kept tidy by Edison and a supportive cleaning staff. Although there were occasional complaints about some of the food preparation, the dining room staff (especially Dave) is extremely flexible with meal orders and is always kind and friendly to the residents. During my mom’s last few days was when I witnessed the incredible support and care of several special individuals - Nadeige, Barbara, Laura - just to name a few. I couldn’t have gotten through those difficult last few months without them. I have been back to visit some of my friends at the Esplanade a few times since my mom’s passing in October 2025. Most recently I needed assistance from the Esplanade in filing some paperwork and, thus had a chance to communicate with the newly appointed Director Alex. I was truly impressed with his prompt and friendly response to my request. I believe he will be an integral part of the continued success of the Esplanade.
