My partner and I experienced a deeply disturbing and racist encounter at The Enclave community gatehouse on April 6, 2026, at approximately 4:30 PM. We were there to drop off a DoorDash order and followed all rules by showing our phone for verification. Instead of doing his job, the security guard on duty looked at my light-skinned boyfriend and condescendingly asked if he 'spoke English.'<br>When I jumped in to explain we were just completing a delivery and that his comment was incredibly rude, the guard became hostile. He claimed his behavior was 'just his job' and went as far as to threaten to block our entry and call the police on us for simply trying to do our work. This was the most mind-blowing, disrespectful, and racist experience we have ever had.<br>I tried calling the office to report this, but no one was helpful. Management needs to address the blatant profiling and harassment occurring at their front gate. This is absolutely not okay.
