I am a patient here I have been treated so well. I want to thank Jayla, Kim, the whole therapy team, especially Leslie and Mario. Activities Director Erika. Med techs Michael and Tina. Mike has kept my room cleaned everyday. Food has been very good. Nurse Kristine was very hospitable my first night. Med aids Michael and Tina are very helpful. Teresa my intake lady was patient because I could barely sign papers. Have to include the techs Mae Mae, Nae Nae and Princess.

I had an excellent experience with Emerald Care in Tulsa. The staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about my needs. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell they truly prioritize their patients. I highly recommend Emerald Care to anyone looking for quality care.

My uncle Kelly spent the last months of his life here and they took fantastic care of him. The bedsores he got from a previous nursing home healed completely at Emerald. It generally smells good in there, you can see the custodian cleaning the floors all day every day. Once in a while, when a resident would become ill with a virus, they were great about wearing PPE and quarantining quickly to keep it from spreading. The CNAs and nurses were very kind and took the time to explain all of his care, physical needs, medications, and plans for future care. They seemed personally invested when he took a turn and did everything they could to keep him comfortable in his final days. The staff genuinely do seem more pleasant here than the other places I looked at. I saw several residents over and over and began to exchange hellos and goodbyes with them, it appeared to me they were doing well and that their needs were attended to. Special thanks to Kris for her support. To make this a fully honest review, the negatives: call buttons are answered at night in case there is an immediate need, which is good, but if there is not, they take a while getting what the residents called for (probably due to the smaller staff on night shift). The ice machine sucks. If I had it to do all over again, I would have helped my uncle get into this place from the beginning of his illness.

My loved one has been here for over a month, and while the facility has some issues keeping up with so many residents, the nurses are respectful and kind. Every one of these places is understaffed, that’s just the way it is now. I visit often, three times a week or more. So far, I’m happy with the care he has received. If that changes, I’ll leave another review. Also, the food is pretty good and served to residents hot. I feel like morale is higher here than some of the other facilities I’ve seen. I see people joking and laughing, residents and staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The first time visiting our loved one here the staff said “if he’s on the floor in there just leave him” and low and behold he is naked on the floor, what an amazing first impression. The rooms are outdated, dirty and ugly. The staff couldn’t care less about the patients as there’s so many that need tending to while there’s 4-5 people just sitting at the front desk. They sigh when they have to buzz you in and out of the front door like they don’t get paid to do so as well as smoking cigarettes right outside the front door right next to the no smoking signs which I don’t care for as someone allergic. Do not put your loved ones here, we moved ours immediately and that’s the only time we were approached by someone higher up and they had no concern about his well-being only him moving out of the facility. Once moved out we found horrible, untreated bedsores. We moved him and have been so happy since.
