Making the decision to place my mom at Elim Place was one of the best decision I have made. As a busy mom of two, I reached a point where I could no longer provide the level of care my mother needed, and accepting that reality was heartbreaking. But Elim is just peace of mind. From the moment we walked through the doors, the environment felt clean, bright, and genuinely welcoming, not institutional or cold. The staff at Elim Place have been wonderful. They treat my mom with kindness and respect, and I can see that they genuinely care about her wellbeing. Knowing that she's in good hands allows me to be a better daughter during our visits, rather than an exhausted caregiver struggling to do it all. I had a chance to tour the facility last week and very impressed. It was clean and not smelly like some other facilities that I have toured. There seem to be lots of staffs and they all busy taking care of the residents. The flooring looks new, and large enclosed courtyard with natural light.

The nurses were very attentive and continually interacted with the visitors and patients. Facilities were very clean. I felt more at ease after visiting there, knowing my loved one was being taken care of in a special way.
