After our father passed away, we placed our mom into an assisted living facility and due to her Alzheimer with Dementia, that didn't last long, and she was moved to memory care. Unfortunately, that didn't work out well and our mother was very unhappy. We then moved her to Elderly Home Care Adult Family home after we did an extensive tour and have been thoroughly, pleased with the care and attention our mother has received. Veronica and all care staff have been absolutely wonderful between the attention and care they are able to provide our mother, fully reviewing her care needs and making adjustments as needed, we couldn't be happier. Best decision we could have made for our mother's care.

Finding an adult family home for my father was stressful. However, when we found Elderly Home Care, my brother and I knew this was the right place for our father. We found the staff to be very attentive and professional. The home was always very tidy and smelled clean (unlike skilled nursing facilities). But most of all, our father was and felt safe (and enjoyed the home cooked meals). We appreciated the open communication and personal touch (the owner visited our father in the hospital prior to him moving in to connect and brought him a little treat). These small, but impactful gestures meant a lot to us. Elderly Home Care gave our father a place to socialize in an environment that felt similar to home. We highly recommend.

My mother was a resident at Elderly Home Care for almost 4 years before passing due to Alzheimers. I had a great deal of anxiety concerning what kind of home to best choose for my mother so she would be happy and well cared for while still being able to afford it on my limited resources. I spent a couple months looking at and interviewing different kinds of care facilities and eventually decided on Elderly Home Care. It was a great choice. The owner, Veronica Adamovici, and her crew are amazing with the adults under their care. The home is suited for around six to seven residents and provided a better transition for my mother, coming from her own home environment, as opposed to going into a larger care facility that felt more like a corporate nursing facility. It is easy to navigate for limited mobility residents, has a covered back porch for getting outdoors, and is meticulously maintained. My mother, skinny as a rail, was always happy with the food, especially when they made a point of cooking special dishes and treats on a holiday or a life-moment celebration. Each resident has a private room and there are common rooms where they can sit and interact during the day. All residents eat at the dining table together for every meal, which helps keep socialization an active part of their routine. They provide 24 hour care with extra observation when needed. However, beyond the services you would hope every care faculty provides, the thing that I believe made the greatest difference for my mother and her well being was the feeling of being loved there. She knew people were watching out for her and cared a great deal for her mental and physical well being. I am very grateful for Veronica's time and care for my mother.

My Mother has been in this facility for almost 2 years & she is safe, well cared for & most importantly, happy. We couldn't be more pleased with the staff & their care for her. They keep a clean, safe & inviting space. When she had to move from home to a facility that can provide the memory care she needs, the transition was an easy & comfortable one because Elderly Home Care really does feel like home.
