It’s been almost 1 yr since my daughter rescued me from one month in this hell hole. I cried and begged her every day to get me out.<br>My biggest fear was a male aide who worked the overnight shift. I was bed bound, and, suffering from chronic diarrhea from a medication I was taking. I would have to ring my bell to get a bed pan. I would wait over an hour for a response. He would make me wait. Most of the time, I could not wait and soiled myself. When I would see him coming to ‘help’ me, I would shift into high anxiety. He would chastise me for making a mess. Or, hoe would say”what did I tell you about doing this?” I would cry because I couldn’t help it. I reported his behavior but nothing was ever done. I feared that man. His clean up to me was reckless and incomplete like he was teaching me a lesson. One year later and I still am haunted by my experience. It is not pleasant. I wish there was a higher authority to file a complaint. But, after a year, who would listen? I believe I will carry this fear for the rest of my life.

This nursing home has made strides from seeing it now vs the old reviews! The new management has made such a difference, and the new Director of Nursing is absolutely fantastic.
