My 90 year old father was placed here by his wife without her investigating what it was like beforehand when my sisters and I went to visit we came home and desperately tried to convince her to allow us to change him from that dump to The Haven where he wanted to go. Also one of the AIDS who was handing out the afternoon snack pulled me aside and said your father does not belong in this wing he sharp as a tack she enjoyed talking to him because he reminisced and continue to wonderful conversation with her which also did on Thanksgiving when he spent 8 hours at my house and was ready to go back at 9:00 p.m. only to let us know the next day they dragged him into the shower with nothing on in a plastic wheelchair and we're very rough with him as he had a catheter he would always cry when we got there and he would cry when we left the red flags were there it's just too sad for words

My mother spent about 10 weeks there after a fall, although from the outside it doesn't look how I would expect a nursing home to look what I found inside was an amazing staff of loving and caring people, my mother had an issue with medicine she was taking which caused delusions and the staff were so patient and gentle with her during that time which I'm eternally grateful for. I'm also grateful for her main aide Cindy whom took the best care of my mother ( she deserves a raise ). All in all our experience there was a good one and I highly recommend this place, mainly for the wonderful people they have working there. On an ending note, the food served was good also

I just got here today after having surgery on my spinal cord and I just wanted to acknowledge Mr. Waddell who works there. Mr Waddell helped me get settled into my room, he’s really a great guy and being very nervous because I never had to go to a nursing home before, he made me feel welcome and really helped me with everything because of my medical condition from surgery. He is a scholar and gentlemen and very good at his job. I see him going around helping others and he seems to really care for all the patience. If I owned a business like this, I would have him in a higher position where he could teach others because his skills are phenomenal.. I’m blessed to have him working here. Respectfully, Rob Pitzer

The place is gloomy.! So sad the environment was not very pleasant. The new owes need to put money to up grade. So Very Sad for the people that have to live there. They need to do better much better to give quality careto all of their patients 🙁.I cry when I left the place. Pa should be sad to call this a health care facility/rehabilitation center.

If I had the option, I'd give this facility 0 stars. This rehab and nursing facility is run down, dilapidated, dirty, smells, and the employees and Department Heads are rude. The therapy staff is unprofessional. I do not recommend this facility at all! Edit: An employee reported to an alert and oriented resident that the facility did not have enough food for the facility. Often, the facility did not follow the menu due to lack of an insufficient food supply nor could they follow a special diet that was needed for a resident d/t lack of insufficient food. The lack of a proper food supply is unacceptable and concerning considering there are people there that cannot speak up for themselves!
