On November 10th, 2025 my father was scheduled for immediate discharge from his former Memory Care Facility. The discharge resulted from his behavior. I connected with Jennifer Smith with Oasis, and toured multiple facilities on November 12th. I'm grateful that we found Edgewood Spring Creek, as no other facility was willing to work with my fathers aggressive behavior. On November 13th, my father moved into Edgewood Spring Creek. The intake was seamless and painless. After an immediate discharge from a former facility, I was terrified that It could happen again. They validated my concerns and put my fears to ease; they were up to the challenge. At the time of intake, my father was in the mid-later stages of Alzheimer's Dementia. I found hope and comfort from their RN (Morgan) and Director (Brenda). I was reassured that they wouldn't give up on my father, and that they would do everything they could to stabilize and provide appropriate care for him. That meant the world to me. Medication management is a huge part of stabilizing Alzheimer's Dementia Patients. Finding the right medication can be challenging. Edgewood took a different approach. Rather than throwing darts at the board to see how close they get, they conducted a genetics test to see what medication would work best. I believe their medication management approach was a best practice, informed, responsible approach. I appreciate their diligent, thoughtful approach to medication management. My fathers stay at Edgewood Spring Creek was brief. It wasn't without calamity. Each and every time my father had behavioral issues, staff came alongside him. They sought to understand the triggers behind his behaviors. They would make adjustments to his care plan and interactions based upon their findings. It was most definitely a thoughtful, collaborative approach. My father required admission into St. Alphonsus on January 3rd. I don't blame the staff at Edgewood Spring Creek. As my father decompensated, his behaviors became unmanageable and dangerous to both residents and staff. I'm grateful for his referral to hospitalization to be honest. It was the beginning to the best possible end to my fathers suffering. My father passed comfortabally and peacefully on January 9th, 2026. I am beyond grateful to the staff at Edgewood Spring Creek. The staff truly cared for my father. Alexis Phipps, a provider at Spring Creek, adored and cared for my father; going out of her way to see my father during the last week of his life. I'll never forget that. The Staff at Edgewood have incredible hearts of compassion. They truly have the most difficult jobs there are. I don't know how they do it day in, day out. My only hope is that the staff that work with Alzheimer's Dementia patients find value and fulfillment in the work they do. I can't imagine what families would do without you. I am forever grateful for the compassion and care you provided to my father. Thank you all so much. I'll never forget you. I would highly recommend Edgewood Spring Creek to anyone with a loved one diagnosed with Ahlsheimers dementia. The staff there are professional and compassionate saints.

My mother lived in this facility for 2 1/2 years. The staff was kind and caring. I would recommend them as a good place for memory care. My mother would still reside there if they could provide the level of assisted living my mother required in addition to providing ongoing memory care. My only complaint was with the hospice company they recommended to us.
