Update on Rating :<br>I reviewed the facility 5 months ago. I had to change my rating with all sincerity. So many needs were not met, the CNA staffing was not ideal and appeared extremely lazy and untrained. I understand parents and residents decline, but I was surprised at the decline of cleaning, leadership of nursing staff, performance of CNAs. I have collaborated with residents of other families and we are in agreement that so many things have not been kept up to a standard that is acceptable. The cleanliness, attentiveness, willingness to help residents eat, CNA willingness to toilet residents when they are requesting it. It was shameful. I chose to remove my mother from the facility and bring her to my home. Compassion, cleanliness and ambition are not present any longer in the facility. New nursing administration and administration could improve leadership direction to remedy the inefficiencies. It would be nice if there was an ounce of pride taken in work.<br>Then... and Now is above .<br>My mom is living her best days in memory care. I travel each month to Meadow Wind to visit. It’s always comforting to see the consistent care , cleanliness and ample food each time I visit. I am familiar with the facilities in Casper and across several states and I am very happy to have them help me care for my mom. Care ! Actually care! I am informed and feel confident in giving my 5 star review.<br><br>I love that I can call and talk to nurses, directors, activity directors, transportation staff and all my needs are met. Facilitating a move like this for your parent is really hard. Kandus went above and beyond! I get updates from nursing weekly , and I know how very capable they are when dealing with dementia patients.<br><br>Matt , Kendra, Charlotte, Tina, Tammy, Lisbeth and everyone … have all become like family . It’s not easy to transition into care but they’ve all eased my anxiety and I know my mom is safe, respected , fed, and happy. It’s very heartwarming to see my mom has a sweet best friend.<br><br>I am a tough person to please and I will be first to go bananas, but this place has finally given me the peace I need to keep my mom safe.
