The day we brought my grandma here, I left so worried for her. And turns out I was right to be. She did not get attentive treatment. The staff did not communicate vital concerns I had to the other staff, and ultimately my grandma was here less than a week before landing back in the hospital. Some of the staff was welcoming, and some not so much. One staff member mishandled my grandma very roughly right in front of us, making me wonder how she treats people behind clsoed doors. I feel CMR failed my family. I know choosing a facility like this is hard, and it can feel like there are no good choices, but if I have any say in the matter, no loved one of mine will be admitted here again.

My mother was sent for rehab after a fall which caused a fracture in her spine. The staff worked hand and hand with her other providers to ensure her care was appropriate and wouldn’t cause any adverse effects; as she has other health issues. Her room was exceptionally clean and the staff were warm and helpful. All in all, a great rehab experience.

This staff are some of the kindest, hardest working, compassionate people I have met. My grandpa has been loved every single step of the way with his recovery! He has returned home now and our whole family keeps talking about how challenging it is to have to leave your home to rehabilitate in a nursing home was so scary. Those fears left the when we arrive at Casper Mountain Rehabilitation. This staff made his time so enjoyable and something he will always treasure. He has made lifelong friendships here! Thank you for everything!

This place needs to be shut down. According to CMS this place is in bad shape care wise and has had multiple violations and fines in the past 3 years and I can see why.

For starters it reeks of urine and feces and is very obviously trying to be covered up by air fresheners. My grandmother was admitted on a Thursday and by the next day we were ready to pull her out. Unfortunately because it was a weekend we had no choice but to wait. Saturday evening she had needed pain medication but her nurse call button had fallen on the floor. She cried and yelled for help for over TWO hours.

I went up there immediately the following morning to address the situation. Once I arrived I requested the nurse via call button. After waiting 37 minutes for someone to show up it was a bath aide who “couldn’t help address my problems” and that if I wanted to talk to the social worker I would have to come the next day.

The lack of care, sanitation and staff attentiveness there is jarring. I will be filing a formal complaint to Medicare, and I suggest anyone else who has unfortunately had a loved one housed there do the same. NO ONE deserves to be in that place.
