Central Wyoming Senior Services

Central Wyoming Senior Services is a community resource center for adults aged 60 and older in Natrona County, Wyoming. Established in 1975, the organization provides nutritious meals, companionship, and activities designed to help seniors remain healthy, independent, and connected to their community.

The center offers a range of services including in-home support through Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) and the Family Care Giver Program (FCG), which provide homemaking assistance, personal care, and respite care for those who need it. Last year, the center served more than 29,000 meals to local seniors. The main center is located in Casper and operates Sunday 11AM–1PM and Monday–Friday 8AM–4PM, with additional sites at Mills and Evansville open Monday–Friday 12PM–1PM.

The center hosts a variety of programs and activities throughout the week. These include film screenings in the library, support groups such as those provided by the Wyoming Council of the Blind for the vision-impaired community, educational presentations on banking and financial topics, technology assistance with handheld devices, and visits from occupational therapy students. A coffee shop called Deja Brew provides a gathering space for conversation and social connection with staff and board members.

Central Wyoming Senior Services was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1976. The organization's mission is to assist individuals in Natrona County by providing or accessing community services and resources that meet nutritional, educational, social, emotional, financial, and recreational needs while maintaining dignity and independence.
