The assisted living community is segregated from the independent living community - located in a separate building with no shuttle service available to the main building. The activities in the building where it is located are for a much lower functioning level - 3 of the 4 units there are locked memory care units. After a year, my relatives ended up moving to a different facility because their needs were not being met.

I have lived at Edgewood for almost five years and I am so glad I found this wonderful community when I did. It is a great location and with several choices of living accommodations, I was able to choose the location and style that I wanted.<br><br>There is so much that makes Edgewood exceptional, #1 the staff is so helpful and they are really dedicated to making the residents feel right at home and are very caring, catering to all of our needs.<br><br>The cultural exposure is incredible and includes music concerts, lectures on news topics, world events, nature walks, baseball games, museum programs…and much more which is self directed by the residents.<br><br>I’m lucky to have found Edgewood at a time in my life when I can enjoy all of the amenities it has to offer and have the security knowing I will be well taken care of when I need further care.
