We moved my grandma into Edgewood Blaine in 2024. What we thought was going to be a challenging transition, since she had been living independently in the community her entire life, turned out to be a blessing. What attracted us to Edgewood is the clean, warm, home like feeling when we toured the facility along with the friendly staff. The staff have helped my grandma feel at home and settle in this past year. They listened to her and calmed her worries many times. They are patient, caring and encourage my grandma to be her best self. They foster her independence and respect her wishes. She has made friends with other residents at Edgewood and looks forward to the activities they offer. Bingo is one of her favorites, along with the painting classes. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is somewhere safe and has many people watching over her. It is apparent that staff take pride in their work and that they genuinely care for each and every resident. We highly recommend Edgewood in Blaine to all our family and friends in need of an assisted living or memory care setting for their loved ones.

Edgewood is absolutely wonderful. The staff are friendly and attentive. Management is helpful and receptive to recommendations. I would highly recommend moving your loved one here! I have nothing but good things to say about Edgewood!

I loved having my Grandpa live at Edgewood. The staff are extremely loving, and the building is in great condition. I refer them to anyone I know looking for a place. My Grandpa made some good friends with the other residents, and the staff took great care of him.

This place is pretty much like any other assisted living/memory care. Some good and bad staff. My experience with my grandma here was fine for the few months she lived there until she had a bad fall. When she returned from rehab, she started slowly not acting herself and it got to the point of me getting worried and they didn't seem worried at all. Instead of them letting me know she was losing weight, I had to ask. My grandma wasn't doing well at all and I had to call my own nurse line for advice since the one “nurse” on staff didn't seem to think anything of it (she was unprofessional and she was one of the head nurses) until the next morning when they wanted her to go to the hospital. She passed a week later. Long story short there were red flags and they didn't seem worried when I was worried until I spoke up. Just kind of odd for a professional establishment. They are the ones caring for our loved ones but everyone doesn't have the best intentions, unfortunately. I hope no one else has to go through the same experience here.
