Our father has been a resident at Eagle Point Nursing Center for over three years and he continues to receive excellent care. Eagle Point has great food, many different activities and top notch staff. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he is happy being at Eagle Point.

My husband was admitted for rehab. His stay was paid for by Medicare, I haven't viewed the statement as to the cost. The facility could use some updates, windows and doors for better insulation. Also, interior floors, paint and furnishings. Therefore my review of the facility rates a 4. MY REVIEW OF THE EMPLOYEES RATES A 5 PLUS !! My husband was a terrible patient, he was argumentative, Cussed and swore at the top of his voice many times. The staff was excellent in caring for him. The entire staff cared for his wellbeing. All departments were there for him. He was a much better person and patient when he left.

I am a current CNA at Eagle Point Health Care Center. I just would like to tell you about my time there so far from a staff members perspective. To start, heathcare is a very, very demanding job. When the pandemic hit, I signed on to work at the hospital. I wanted to be on the front lines. Never wanted to be a hero. But when everything was out of control. That was a controlled area for me. After the pandemic died down a little healthcare had changed. In hospital settings, nursing home settings all over. The demand for Healthcare and Healthcare professionals was at an all time high! And the staffing shortage had and still has affected everyone. I honestly had lost my passion and id taken a break from Healthcare. This was devastating for me. As I knew from the age of 5, putting TED hose socks on my grandmother, or burshing false teeth at 10 helping others was a passion of mine. I went back to nursing after 4 months. And where I was working. It was very toxic. The concern for residents never outweighed the corrupt structure. Fast forward two years. Id quit my job at the toxic facility. And I applied at Eagle point. Mind you I KNEW there was a bad wrap in the community. But I did it, I applied. When I walked in for my interview... EVERYONE WAS SMILING! They were laughing. Joking. And something different. The residents were laughing and happy! I had been asked at least 5 times "has someone helped you yet?" In a matter of 15 minutes. Everyone there was so kind. So I thought. Ok? Maybe this place isn't so bad. I had my interview and I was blessed to be hired. Here I am six months later. I LOVE MY JOB!!! I truly am NOT one to pick up shifts at all. But I have picked up and worked over more. Or requested shifts because I LOVE Eagle point! I love the staff members I work with. I love the administration. I LOVE the residents. When a concern about a resident is brought up it is taken care of. My residents are not numbers. They are people. They have rights and Eagle point allows and respects residents rights. Because yes it may be my workplace. But first and foremost it is their home! Its such a beautiful thing to see after so many years of corrprut crooks. Eagle point has redesigned heathcare. They've reminded us what hesthcare is truly about. Those we take care of. Eagle point has given me back my passion! Its reminded me that im not "just a CNA". Eagle point admin has reminded me that no question is a stupid question. Or if I need some education. It is readily available. Eagle point has become my home away from home. I highly encourage anyone who has questions or concerns to ask. Or tour with us. I can truly say these residents and staff members have become my family. If you're reading this as a resident, a family member, a community member or a Healthcare professional looking for their home.. Come join our family!

Im a 3rd shifter ive been here for 3 years. There has been some changes through the years and they are for the better. The 8 hour shifts make taking care of my boys easier. The staff are great and the residents are amazing. There's always a resident up for conversation.

So far Eagle Point Nursing Home has treated my mom very good, and my mother is actually happy being there. To be honest, my first choice was Alverno for my mom, but Alverno didn't like that my mother's Medicaid application was pending. They didn't want her. Eagle Point Nursing Home took my mother in with only Medicare for skilled care. The facility might not be as new as Alverno, but the staff their so far are very kind and skilled. I was just looking at the outward appearance at first when comparing the two nursing homes, instead of the medical care going on inside. My mother is actually happy and content (she is picky and very vocal if she is unhappy). There are good people taking care of my mother with respect and professionalism. I will give an update as time goes on...Update: My mom stayed here for several months in long term care. The staff was very friendly and good to my mom (even when she was not nice to them). The facility was clean. A nurse, from Eagle Point, actually saved my mom's life with CPR to give her more time to have final conversations with loved ones before going to be with Jesus. I highly recommend Eagle Point Nursing Home. They admitt they are not perfect (none of us are), but ask how they can improve constantly. The more I looked at Nursing Homes in the Quad Cities, the more I understood how blessed Clinton is to have Eagle Point Nursing Home.
