And please search “Arbor View Pewaukee inspection reports” on google and read theirs before placing a loved one in care here🙏🏻 it could save them and your family an immense amount of trauma and money. Arbor View is a repeat offender. Being investigated, cited and fined by the state for neglect/abuse, lack of reporting injuries, lack of documenting medications, not following the service plans for residents, unhealthy conditions/safety and lack of training of employees and more. They will say they have complied and corrected anything they were investigated or cited with, but it is simply not true. It is still happening. There is a serious lack of accountability and management within this specific facility and it shows by the long list of complaints investigated and cited by the state to their facility. Please make sure your loved one is living in a place that can accommodate that they will be safe, clean, comfortable, cared for and happy. Arbor View is not that place. There is complete deceit and falsification on their part on how they’ve been running this facility and it is catching up to them. They will take the hard earned money of your loved one and not live up to the bare minimum expectations of caring for them. Stay far away from this place🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We are very impressed with everything at Arborview! The staff is nothing short if amazing with the knowledge, experiebce, and compassion. The Director Nicole goes above and beyond and is approachable and caring. The food is amazing not the typical bland boring but instead grilled food, taco tuesdays, and other themed meals. The grounds are very well kept to give that at home feeling nothing short of amazing.

Update: Note the sudden string of glowing reviews all within the two weeks after I posted my review. And none of whom state they actually have or had a loved one there. Probably a tactic to bury my review, which is 100% truthful.<br><br>This review is long overdue. I think I just wanted to block out our poor experience. But I feel a need to state the facts to hopefully save another family the stress we went through. I could write a book about what I saw there, but I will try to keep this short.<br>My mom lived at Arbor View Assisted Living for 5+ years, but I moved her out in late 2023, when our family felt it was clearly not safe for her to be there any longer.<br>Arbor View was once a good facility, run by a local couple that built it. But in 2018 it was sold to an out-of-state corporation, after which began a slow decline of every aspect of service, and especially the care. So, when reading any reviews, pay attention to the date. In addition to quality of care, the building maintenance, cleanliness, food safety, food quality, activities, and more all went downhill. While they had a few good caregivers, most of the staff was untrained and unsupervised, and turned over constantly. I brought my concerns to the Director and her boss at Corporate constantly. They would act concerned, but do nothing. The Director took accountability for nothing. She was rarely in the building, and never there evenings, weekends or holidays. Staff did whatever they wanted to do, if they showed up.<br>I filed a complaint with the State, as did other families, and nothing was done. Until finally in early 2024, they were given multiple citations and fines. I see online that they were again cited and fined in August 2024. I'm happy to see the State is finally onto them.<br>Moving someone again at age 90 is not an easy decision. We tolerated a lot of sub-standard care for $7000 a month. But there were several things that were "final straws" and left us worried to keep our mom there one more day. We were not the only family that moved out. At the time we left, this building that used to have a waiting list was down to about 50% capacity. I spent A LOT of time there and saw and heard a lot. In the last 6 months, I was there nearly every day just to make sure my mom's most basic needs were being met.<br>Everything I saw points to poor management as the problem. Nothing will turn around until management is replaced.

I visited a friend's parent when they were out of town. I was not impressed. In addition, there was no tracking of visitor names, which was quite suprising that anyone could just walk in.
